  Rude Employees

  We stay at a lot of Hotels but by far the three employees that work the front desk at this hotel are very rude. We had a few issues when checking into our room and every time we called the front desk they acted like we were a big bother. No smile, no mask, no thank you. We just let every go and walked away. There was a family in front of us that the young girl waiting on them was so rude I could have never taken that. In the end the man had all he could take and walk out. I know with everything that is going on today people are tried but being rude for no excuse. It is unacceptable. We will not be going back to this hotel EVER. You are only as good as your employees make you.

  Amazing trip

  Clean....clean....clean! Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms/beds. Great water pressure in showers. Nice pool with boardwalk to beach. Great view! Nice location. We would definitely stay here again! Convenient parking

  Social distancing on the beach at Courtyard

  Thank you Courtyard Fort Walton for hosting Beach Bum Oasis Travel. I needed a quick getaway. I was looking for a place that I can travel to and still be able to social distance! The beach it is and Courtyard made that possible. I was looking for a comfortable hotel with direct access to the beach. I snatched up Room 329 located on the far east corner. It was a King Room with a partial beach View. The room was clean and comfortable. Not located in a heavy traffic area; therefore, it was really quiet. I loved the big walk in shower. Excellent after long beach days! Parking is free. There are restaurants (AJs Oyster Shanty, Waffle House, etc.), gas station and other shops within walking distance. I checked in using the mobile app. My room was turned down when I arrived. The only thing I would change would be the bed. It was too hard for my taste, but that wouldnt stop me from returning.

  Great Staff and Clean Hotel

  Had a great stay for Labor Day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was pleasant, and room was clean. Our son got sick in our car in the parking lot. The manager went above and beyond providing everything we needed to clean up and sanitize. Also saw the maids cleaning rooms as we were leaving, they seemed to be efficient and the lead maid was passing out Gatorade to her team. We were able to check in early to our room while our family at another hotel had a late check in because the rooms werent ready yet. Well be back hopefully soon!

  READ FIRST BEFORE BOOK!

  DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL WITHOUT READ THIS! I booked this hotel asking for Ocean view and after drive several hours to get there and paid extra for the view, they gave me a room in the first floor with no ocean view, very different than the picture in the website! all I could see was the parking lot! I was asked for another room but they said the hotel was full and he would charge me the price paid for ocean view even if doesn't have the ocean view because "technically" was an ocean view because the building was facing in the same direction of the beach! They said they returned my money but nobody offered any compensation or help me to find at hotel 2 AM! I need to find another hotel myself that late. The people there doesn't care about you and if you want a terrible customer service where the people are unreasonable, that is your place, but if you want a good hotel for you enjoy the beach with your family you should look for another better options, , some good hotels in the same area you will be REALLY in front the beach. I don't recommend this hotel for anyone!
