Buen y limpio hotelExcelente hotel por el precio, muy limpio y muy buenas camas. Un poco lejos de las playas, por ejemplo esta a 1 hora de Sanibel. Es mas un hotel de negocios pues esta en la mitad de la ciudad aunque para el fin de semana largo del 4 de Julio estaba full de temporadistas no de gente de negocios.

Poor customer serviceSo the reason for the one star is not the hotel itself but the person (Josh) that checked me in. Went to visit family in Tampa, were from south Florida. Coming back home we decided to stop in Ft Myers overnight as it was getting late. We found the Cape Coral Marriott hotel which the reviews were ok online so we went there. I was surprised when I walked in as the hotel lobby had a lot of people not wearing a mask. Anyways, I went to the guy at the front desk and asked if there was any availability for one night. The vibe was just weird because first there was none then he said he only have rooms with double bed implying that I wouldnt want that. I told him it was ok. I gave him my id and debit card after I was told the cost. He then proceeds to enter my information when the time comes for him to charge the card his card reader was not working (could be my card as Ive been using the chip, havent swiped my card in a long time). He then said I hope this aint some stuff. I asked him what do you mean and he replied by saying I know how yall do it down south. I was like what? And ask again what does he mean by that he said yall in south Florida is known for scamming. Its just crazy to me that the face of the hotel would say something like that to a guest checking in that he doesnt know..so I let him know that it was my debit card he had my DL and its time they upgraded the system to accept chip. I work very hard for my money so for someone at a hotel front desk to say something like that degrades your hotel. Ive been working in the cruise industry for years and any business that has someone like this as the first introduction to the hotel is not a good look. The next morning I wanted to leave so bad I did not enjoy the hotel due to the treatment received at check in. Just horrible! The next morning me and my fiancé went to the front desk this time it was a lady. We asked for a manager but was told no manager or supervisor will be there until 2pm. Come to find out the person that checked me in was the assistant general manager Josh! It is really bad for business as we will never stay at that location ever. Ive stayed at 2 different Marriott hotel prior to getting to this one and the others were great but Cape Coral Marriott please train Josh how to speak to a guest!

Great customer serviceWe decided to take a quick business trip down to Florida for two days. What a disaster between the plane being delayed and then our car rental place was a disaster anyways we got in our car drove to the courtyard Marriott all flustered, walked in preparing myself for the next disaster, walked Up to the desk and there was this lovely girl name Lauren who was the sweetest kindest customer service agent ever! I was so relieved she did such a great job and she was quick and gave me a bunch of info about the hotel, I just loved her! Shes a doll and she deserves a raise, we will be back!! Thx Lauren!!

Won't return to this locationStayed four nights on business. Room was clean, but pretty sparse. There was no bedspread or comforter -- only a very light blanket, which did not keep me warm. Also no housekeeping service. At all. They tell you to put your dirty towels in the hallway, but they don't replace them with new towels. So when you're there for four days, you have to walk down to the desk and ask for new towels. Walls are paper-thin. The guest in the room next door either had the TV on full blast or was on speakerphone at 3 a.m. Horrible night of sleep under my too thin blanket. Returning to Fort Myers for business this week and staying somewhere else. Courtyard is off my list.

DisappointingI usually stay in Marriotts and Courtyards. This hotel seems to be away from things which is fine and outside it looks a little run down so I was shocked when I walked inside and the lobby and decor looked very nice and up to date. Then I got to my room and could have just been my room but whoever cleaned it, needs to be re-trained or they just didnt care. I think they attempted to sweep in the bathroom but then forgot they need to swoop that up because so much dust and short dark hair (I am long blond female) was all over. Had all the bathroom needs in the shower and wasnt until I was in it and already shampooed up that I noticed the conditioner and body gel was pretty much out. Then the bed just had a sheet on it (no sort of comforter) and when I went to pull back I saw the tape looking stain. Just seemed like it was all done within minutes and not actually cleaned. Oh and the small balcony is nice but no furniture to sit on so what is the point?? First time Ive been disappointed in the cleanliness of a room with Marriott.
