  Decent hotel in the area

  It was my second stay at this Courtyard but most likely will stay elsewhere the next time as not very close to any restaurants. The hotel does have an on premise small restaurant/ bistro in its lobby area, but food choices are very limited. Still better than nothing as it stays open till 10 pm and serves breakfast. If included in the rate, hotel hands out breakfast coupons. I had to ask for them since initially at check in, the receptionist said b-fast was not included though it was. Then, the restaurant still asks you to not only to give them the coupon but also to fill out the beast receipt. In my case, they included b.fast charges to the bill. I had to ask the checkout staff to correct it. Rooms are fine and kept in clean condition. Heavy curtain also keeps light out. Room does not have a microwave, the ironing board is low, shower is single-pattern, and in my case the sink was very slow running. The next time, if staying there, will ask for foam pillows as requesting side-sleeper pillow didnt work. Parking is well lit and hotel is very close to highway, so convenient to get on/off the road.

  This is the brand standard.

  I am notorious for giving Courtyards a hard time ...but not this one. Lobby is updated. Rooms were just want you want - clean, quiet, cold (have it your way - but 65 deg for me). Also a very warm welcome when I checked in. I would definitely stay here again, and if you're town for business etc. you should too. Nice job here Marriott.

  Construction!!!

  I was wondering why the hotel was so empty, but after being here a week, now I know why. Construction!! The staff here is great! But I really wish I would have known about the construction which lasts all day until about 6pm. Especially today, Nov 15, the water is off in the hotel until 3pm.....this would have been nice to know in advance. Keeping in mind, not everyone walks out the front door in the morning (if there is a sign). I sent a chat on Marriott messenger but got tired of waiting for a response, so called front desk. Then instantly got a response on messenger. I guess thats what happens if you are a Titanium member. Speaking of status, basically keeps going down on my opinion. I was a Ritz member before all these nonsense mergers. And literally, no one, especially in the states (unless you are at a Ritz) cares or ever mentions anything. I always have to ask myself why I continue spending with Marriott branded hotels. Im at 92 nights for this year right now.....should have stopped at 50and switched the rest to Hilton. I guess I just keep thinking things will be different. To sum up. Staff here, especially when checking I. Was great. Restaurant- yeah, definitely microwaved feeling as someone else mentioned below. ESP the burger. And do not get the chicken pot pie to go. It is less than 1 cup for about 12$..... I remember the restaurant being much better years ago, not sure why the change. No safes in room. They have this thing at front desk/just make sure you are back before shift change...read my previous review from last year about them having to call an employee at home to get combo.. I will also say, dont let me comments be a deterrent from staying here. The rooms arent bad at all, and overall the hotel is very quiet (just not now because of construction/hopefully you dont work nights and sleep during day).

  Bring your Clorox Wipes

  I prepaid for 2 days at this hotel. After checking in, I opened the fridge in my room and it had dirt, hair and brown stains in it. I went to the front desk and asked the lady at the front desk if someone could clean it, as I leave to go get food. She said someone would clean it. No one EVER came to clean it. Later, I noticed a few pieces of candy and a used piece of tissue at the base of one of the queen beds in my room. I called the front desk to inform them of it and requested someone clean my room. The lady said it may not be possible because housekeeping service was suspended. I also told her no one cleaned my fridge; she said "sorry". However, no one EVER came to clean the room. Also, I was offered no solutions, no alternatives, no cleaning services, nothing. Later that evening, I walked into the bathroom and noticed stains on the shower floor. So, I used my Clorox wipes to clean everything and sanitize my room, my fridge, the shower, counters, fixtures, etc. I wiped everything down. In this pandemic, I'm appalled that this hotel didn't even do a regular cleaning of my hotel room, let alone any extra sanitation or cleaning. I won't ever stay here again.

  Horribly Managed hotel with no staff cleaning ANYTHING. Place is a dump.

  Mr. Marriott should be ashamed of this.... camping outlet? not at all accommodating for long stays. people that stay here one day might only see a couple bad qualities, but this is just atrocious. Fitness center is NOT open. RESTAURANT is STILL not open: its June 28 and the LOBBY is STILL closed...I tried to use the toaster in the lobby, just to be told that I am not allowed to use it. has to be a joke. colonial breakfast is complete trash. coffee station is never set up.I overheard the front desk lady saying to the manager that she booked 17 rooms and theres no-one there to mean them. DISGUSTING.. Guess what. TheY SOLD the rooms DIRTY that day when those families checked in. This is how to NOT run a hotel. Huge patio: Completely out of service. DO NOT STAY HERE. This is worse than a motel. worth less than $40 a night. a dirty dirty dump. just like the main picture depicts. a dumpster.
