  GOOD PLACE TO CATCH COVID

  So my wife and I stayed there four nights. First of all they have two different cable tv systems so the one on the third floor doesnt get all the channels that the system gets on the first floor, not even all the local channels. The other thing. is they cant even keep up with the remotes for you operate the tvs in the lobby, so if the tv is not already on the channel you want, you still out of luck. So you have to risk exposing yourself to COVID if you wish to watch something on TV in the lobby area, instead of being able to watch tv in the privacy and comfort of your room. Secondly, they do not change the linen until you leave. If youre going to be there for an extended stay youll have to change your on linen and empty your own trash. So by still not cleaning the rooms you still are put at risk of catching COVID. When I spoke with corporate HQ they lady I spoke with said she would have some one get back with me. That was last Sunday it will be 1 week as of Oct 10, and no one has contacted me as of yet. I think Ive given them ample time to contact me, which is why now Im writing this review.

  Disappointing Expereince

  Checking into this hotel we had to wait behind a large family in the lobby not wearing masks. Signs on the door said masks are required but the staff clearly couldn't have cared less. That about summed up the stay. The room was dingy and carpets were stained. This hotel needs a major overhaul of paint, carpeting and furniture. We felt unsafe in the lobby as social distancing was not encouraged, there was no hand sanitizer, and mask use was not enforced. The state of our room did not make us feel at all confident that extra cleaning measure for COVID were being completed in any way.

  Quiet, updated hotel deep in an industrial park

  Updated spacious rooms. No shuttle to Flint airport. Absolutely can not believe they charge $10 a night to park in this motel style property layout. Not anywhere near downtown anything. They advertise an attractive nightly rate and then sneak this charge deep down in the hotel web site details. Felt cheated and will never stay here again.

  Trough in middle of ancient King size bed

  The mattress was so broken down that we had to sleep on the very edge on each side of the bed to keep from rolling on top of one another in the center. It had a depression in the middle at least six inches deep. I complained later to the hotel and to Marriott international and neither offered to change policies so that that wouldnt happen at another Marriott. The parking lot was empty and full of litter. After all the paperwork was done at check-in I was told there was an extra fee to park in their empty parking lot. Always before in our travels Marriott was as good or better than Holiday Inn,Choice Hotels,etc. I'll never trust Marriott again.

  Lost an item

  I recently stayed at this hotel, and by the time I had checked out and got to the airport, I realized I had left something behind. I wasn't able to call and have someone try to locate it for me and when I did, I connected with Maurice at the front desk. He personally went up to the room I stayed in, found the item and within a few hours, provided me with the Fedex tracking number! Great customer service. Thanks!
