  Christmas vacation

  Courtyard Marriott at Dayton mall is a wonderful place. Clean friendly and accomodating. Warm water pool for the kids. Early and late check out and A+ fot clealiness. Two friendly housekeepers helped with feminine hygiene products to get us by until we could get to a store.

  Terrie and Tara

  So I checked in and in 30 seconds I lost my wallet. Looked everywhere. Retraced my path. Spoke to Terrie and she put the entire staff on it. Had to pick up my boss at the airport and she called with updates on the search. Tara asked me when I returned if I had found it. So Terrie had her on it too. Turns out it was me who misplaced it all along. But the concern from the staff was amazing. I genuflect to the entire team.

  Will not stay again

  We stayed here for one night on the way to see family across the country. Being a Courtyard hotel, we thought it would be a clean, comfortable place to stay as always. Thankfully we only stayed one night. The hotel was dirty, worn out and outdated. There was staining, dirt, cobwebs and the walls appeared as though it was previously a smoking room. The bed was uncomfortable and there were hairs under the sheets. Someone had even written "wash" on the sliding door. Staff seemed friendly, but sadly are working in a run down facility. Very disappointed.

  Stop Using Covid As an Excuse to Keep your Hotel Filthy

  I just checked out and was thoroughly disappointed in the low standards of this hotel. The rug in the hallway and in the room FILTHY. Room not very clean. I know we are in a pandemic but that is no excuse for filth. The outside courtyard dirty with cigarette butts all over the grass along with trash. Travel has decreased so you dont have nothing but time CLEAN UP!

  "Because of COVID, we've given up" should be on the door.

  I stayed at this property in room 252 a double/double for one night while working in Dayton during COVID19 outbreak PROs Decent bed and bedding but flat/lumpy pillows Excellent work desk and chair but only 2 unused outlets to power electronics and no USBs Has workout room, pool (CLOSED FOR COVID) Has fridge, coffee maker 50 Samsung CONS Light-Moderate traffic sounds enter room No nightlight in bathroom. Really Marriott? They are $1.00 at Walmart Largely original décor and layout, looks dated from early 2000s Only two outlets bedside and no USBs to power electronics HVAC noisy, I turned it off most of the night until it got too cold Dirty hallways Garbage cans overflowing Inability to serve a COVID compliant breakfast, most properties have figured this out by now RIDICULOUSLY low toilet! A disappointing property for a Marriott brand. If your reference point is different, you may find it OK. I judge properties against their peers and this is a poor representation of a Courtyard. Overall I would give this property a 70/100 and an 80/100 for value. I would also give them a 70/100 for COVID policy. Masks were consistently worn by staff, but room didnt feel/smell CLEAN. I would likely not return to this property.
