  MUY BUEN HOTEL

  si bien esta ubicado en el norte de Dallas, mas cerca del aeropuerto FW, el hotel es muy bueno, la atencion tambien. las habiatciones son amplias, un poco antiguas las alfombras, pero muy comodas. me hicieron un upgrade por ir sola a una swite, muy considerados. para un viaje de negocios lo super recomiendo.

  Pedí una toalla extra y no me la quisieron enviar, me dijeron que tendría que bajar por ella a Front desk. El hotel está viejo, pero las habitaciones remodeladas. No se permiten "CLABADOS" en la alberca

  Hard To Believe This Ever Passed A Health Inspection

  Half of the hotel is blocked off and closed along with the restaurant. Hallways were filthy and had not been cleaned of leaves and debris for a while. Room was not very clean and all I could think of was how many cockroaches there might be after seeing some running around the room. I have no idea what is going on at this location, but clearly Marriot is not monitoring it. There is no way anyone with a single brain cell should be allowed to stay here. We could not stay here. We left and went to the Sheraton close by.

  Dirty Place

  Usually you know what to expect with Marriott and its a clean room and a great value for the money. Thats not the case here. The main lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel is run down and not cared for. I was disgusted by the level of cleanliness in the rooms. I honestly didnt feel comfortable taking off my shoes. There were (hopefully) lotion stains and dirt all over the walls. There was hair in the shower and the sink. Dead bugs were in the shower. The sliding doors to the balcony had strips from the actual door hanging down. Even outlet covers and light switches were old and dingy. Such simple steps and a good cleaning could refresh this location and make it a million times better. Management needs to walk through the rooms with a clipboard and do an overhaul. The location is nice due to its closeness to the freeway and restaurants. It seems to be a fairly calm area, but there were homeless people sitting outside the gas stations and reviews of nearby restaurants said it was a bad part of town. The only saving grace for this hotel was the staff was nice. I spoke with two people during my stay and they both were pleasant. 1st picture is the floor in the bathroom. 2nd picture is the algae in the pool.

  Not Read For Travelers

  While Americans might be ready to start Traveling, Marriott is not Ready to receive them. Are being locked down for months, we finally said enough is enough and scheduled a getaway at our favorite city, with our favorite Hotel Chain. But boy was Marriott not ready for guests yet, while I understand precautions like 6 feet before checking in, there are some things social distancing cant be blamed for. The grass appears to not have been cut since Covid started, the hallways and elevators were all 10 degrees hotter than need assuming they were too cheap to want to run the A/C, the choice to not offer a turn down service might make sense but when a guest checks in for three days, it makes it almost impossible to get basic things like towels and shampoo. This does not make sense. At one point we asked a housekeeper we saw in a hall to take out trash, but they said they could not. One morning we were out of shampoo and towels, we went down to the front desk for more and found the doors locked and no one home. Trying to return to my room my key had become demagnetized and I was locked out of the whole hotel. Being Titanium Elite with Marriott I called national guest services who could not believe it and offered no help, they said they would call back with answers but of course did not. I Found myself locked out of the Motel for hours while I was forced to go find food dressed like I had never showered. I have come to expect more from Courtyard and Marriott and hope they will stop using Covid for an excuse for poor service and cheapening out. The virus should not stop you from coming to pick up towels in the elevator floor for two days or cutting your grass.
