    Clean, basic hotel with limited amenities

    We stayed for three nights at the end of December 2019. Our room was comfortable and clean, though dark, we kept having to use the flashlights on our phone to find things. Housekeeping was excellent! The kids used the pool which was small but I thought the pool room seemed very clean (compared to the typical hotel pool) and they provided towels. My big issue with the hotel is the lack of coffee. Seems minor but when you are cold and wet it's a real bummer. More about that in a minute. There is a small maker in the room, however the coffee is not very good. Downstairs in the lobby they offer drip coffee starting at about $1.50 up to giant lattes for approx. $6. For reference, on our first morning, we had one small cappuccino, one eggs & bacon, one croissant, one bagel w/cream cheese, one milk. It was $30. Unlike Hyatt, Hilton, and other chains, there is no drip coffee that you can just grab a cup of on your way out the door. Usually those other chains leave it near the elevators. Oh, and any food or drink totally shuts down at 10am. They turn the lights off everywhere, even if you are sitting at a table. It's weird. On our last day there, the fire alarm went off while I was just getting out of the shower. Sopping wet, I quickly dressed, grabbed my son, and evacuated. My hair was wet and we were cold waiting outside in the wind and rain. I had forgotten to grab keys, phone, etc. No one from the hotel came out to tell us that it was a false alarm set off by workers. Eventually, we went back in and asked if it was safe. The guy at the front desk chuckled at us. So odd. It was just after 10am, I was freezing and turned to see the coffee/food was indeed shut down. No, they did not leave it open a few minutes longer for the people who obeyed the alarm and waited in the rain. I asked the front desk if there was somewhere else to get coffee and the gal said she didn't know. So, we went up, I dried my hair, and we left. I give this hotel 3 stars because it is average. Next time we're going to try another spot. It seems minor, and to many it would be but I really think they should re-think the coffee. This is not a place where you can hang out despite it being set up that way.

    Impressed!

    We just spent 2 nights at this hotel at the beginning of this month. Overall, from start to end, our stay was very good. First of all, I have to say all of the staff members at this hotel were following all of the appropriate COVID guidelines. They were all wearing a mask correctly, and kept the hotel spotless at all times!! Every guest we encountered were wearing a mask as well!! When we checked in, the young man at the front desk was very friendly. He gave us 2 really nice adjoining rooms on the 6th floor, one of with a king, the other with 2 queen. (Rooms 612 & 614) Both rooms were literally spotless. They had no musty smells or odors. They were extremely allergy friendly!! Every part of the hotel had no strong chemical smells, musty smells, etc. It was perfect. The beds were extremely firm. It was probably the firmest bed I have slept in this whole year. I personally found it uncomfortable, but I did sleep well both nights. If you love a very firm bed, this hotel has you covered!! Finally, we loved the location of this hotel. You are a 2 minute walk to Easton Town Center, which has every single shop and restaurant you could think of, literally. The town center is huge, and the area is extremely safe!! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!! I do plan to stay here sometime again in the near future. Weve stayed in a ton of hotels in Columbus, and this one ranks up there as one of our favorites!!

    Lifetime Titanium

    You really discover which hotel is the best during tough times.  As an essential worker, I travel extensively countrywide and without hesitation I give Easton Courtyard two thumbs up and 5 stars for staff's "Guest First" and "Able & Willing" attitude. They were  to none.  Supervisor Jessica at front desk was just outstanding.  She does with ease and plenty of smile.  This clean property provides nice option for Easton overnights as many restaurants and shops are within walking parameters.  Most importantly, staff does fantastic job. Thanks for your outstanding hospitality.  We'll be back soon.  Keep up the good work team!

    Worst Marriott experience Ive ever had!

    I am a loyal Marriott gold member. I exclusively stay at Marriott. I booked the hotel bc my daughter had an appointment the next day at nationwide childrens hospital. The first room (512) they gave me smelled of cigarette smoke & marijuana. I asked for another room (509) it didnt smell as bad. We quickly changed clothes and went to dinner. When we returned it smelled so bad I felt I couldnt breathe and my daughters nose started breathing. I asked to change floors. We were changed to the 2nd floor. When we walked into that room it smelled like mold and mildew so bad. I went to the front desk and requested to not be charged for the room and left and went to the Hilton across the way. I have never been so disappointed in a Marriott property in all my days. The hotel was dirty, the rooms smelled, carpet was disgusting & just seemed gross. I truly hope Marriott makes changes at this location. The staff seemed to be accommodating to change the rooms as if they were aware of the problems.

    An awesome hotel

    Updated furnishings, comfortable beds, awesome Bistro...breakfast burrito was delicious, easy check in even though there was a line. There were a few bumps with bed situation that was not what I reserved, but management was very attentive. Extra towels were readily available, there were no sheets for sleeper sofa, but they were delivered very quickly. We celebrated my daughters 18th birthday with a shopping trip. Making memories
