  Rooms Are Deficient In General Maintenance

  At the point of check in, my room rate was challenged by one receptionist and approved by another receptionist. I had booked my room online through the Marriott website. I had other hotels to choose from but settled here. My room television did not work. I contacted the front desk and was advised to unplug and reconnect the plug. It so happen the the television is mounted on top of a desk which afforded a view to the back of the flat screen television. Only thing the power cable was connected to the TV. There were other cables dangling in the back of the TV but, it was not my responsibility to effect repairs to the tv. The tv condition was reported to the front desk and the front desk offered to move us to another room with a working tv. We gladly accepted the offer. The good news is the the tv worked! But there are problems. The floor carpet had several stains and a couple of stains were as large as dinner plates. The hinges on the bad room door were rusty and sickly looking. Would I stay here again? No, not in the next two years. General maintenance and attention to detail should be one of the facets of a great stay. This one night experience missed the mark.

  Cute and Dainty

  Check in was quick and easy. The breakfast was very good would like to see more vegan options. Fire pit in the back is a very nice touch. Gym was actually pretty cool with the essential needs. Overall happy with the stay.

  Just okay...

  We stayed here before flying out and again a week later on our return. Its not what I expected from a Marriott. The saving grace of this hotel is the helpful and friendly staff. Otherwise, its severely lacking. The location is okay, and close enough to the airport. However, the parking lot had less than desirable people in it, there was trash piled waste high in and around the trash cans by the entry doors (not the front doors). The locks are finicky and we had to all around the building because the door wouldnt unlock with our key. The carpets are filthy and stained and the rooms smell as if it used to be a smoking hotel. The grab and go breakfast bags were appreciated, since their restaurant is not operating. There is also no pool. It worked for us for one evening, and was a deal through Priceline, but I would not book here again on my own

  This Could Have Been a Nice Stay... But...

  I was here for two nights this week for business. The hotel is under renovations right now, so I take that into consideration. Upon check in, I was told that the gym was open. The next day, I went to the hotel gym to find it to be very warm. Yuck. There were no sanitizing wipes or cleaners of any kind. So much for keeping it clean during COVID. The temperature was 80 degrees in the gym. argh. I was not greeted with any smiles or hellos from any staff. When leaving the hotel on the last day, two women were behind the front desk talking. One did not have on a mask. They never looked up to say hello or ask if I needed help. My co workers and I waited a while to be noticed. Finally, one of the women looked our way and said "do you need something?" We told her what we needed. She did not respond nor help us. We left.

  This Hotel Should Not Be Open for Business During Renovations

  I drove right by it thinking it was closed and went across the street to the Marriott. The Courtyard is open but it really should not be -- there is construction leftovers all over the property; the sidewalks were not salted during the recent snowstorm causing a severe danger to guests; there are notes saying PARDON but the bottom line is that Marriott should know better than keeping this place open while they are renovating. The shower was very good, I must say, but this property was far from what I expect when I check into a Marriott.
