  Excelente hotel

  El hotel es muy bueno, muy cómodo y con habitaciones amplias. El servicio es bueno y rápido en la cafetería del lobby y muy amables en la atención. La ubicación también es muy buena. En general es muy bueno el hotel.

  3 Star that performs closer to 1.5

  Bottom Line: I think the entire hotel has a moisture problem. COVID issues aside, this hotel needs to figure out how to dry the building out. While walking around, living in my room, and especially when walking in the stairways, there was a constant musty smell like mold. Also, when I went to workout outside, my clothes and shoes would never dry off inside my room, despite placing them directly in front of the AC. There is an extremely high moisture level that causes the musty smell and just a general dampness throughout the building. Additionally, whenever I walked barefoot on the carpet in the room, my feet would be slightly damp. From the service side, due to COVID there was minimal service. However, I have stayed at two other Marriots during the pandemic and when I stuck my trash outside my room it would be cleared. At this hotel, it would just sit there despite housekeepers walking by my trash. I would have to call the front desk to request someone take the trash, otherwise it would just pile up. Lastly, on day of checkout, I kept receiving knocks on my door to try and clean the room before checkout time. It felt as if the housekeepers were pressuring me to leave early so they could clean early. Overall, I would not stay at this property again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

  Gone downhill badly

  Have stayed in this location before, but now rooms are filthy!! I had a late check in and had to ask for another room as there were stains on all of the furniture, carpets, walls and trash under the bed's dust ruffle. The second room wasn't much of an improvement, but was after midnight and too late to find other accommodations. The night manager was apologetic, but it appears they really are not keeping the property clean, especially important now with COVID.

  Not what one expects from a Marriott.

  Upon check in, the receptionist stated I was in the wrong facility. I asked if this is the Marriott, she replied there are several, you must be at the wrong one. I stated the address and displayed my reservation. She blamed someone for misspelling my name .... During our two day stay the pool was closed, as was the exercise room and the dining area. The room was not made up, beds not freshened, towels not serviced, trash not emptied. The guest in an adjacent room was unable to turn down the volume on their Television. They stated the controller was broken. We had to move to another room late at night. I know we are living with COVID-19, but the overall lack of courtesy, lack of service, and lack of maintenance are not excused by COVID. Based upon my experience, I do not recommend Courtyard Chesapeake Greenbriar.

  Hotel needs some serious TLC

  Positives, hotel is in a really good location and close to everything. Negatives, hotel is REALLY dated. They really need to come and completely renovate. All the common areas and rooms are musty smelling and still always felt humid even with A/C going. Furniture, carpets, etc. all looked very old and worn and felt dirty. Check in was very strange. Despite reserving and checking in for a specific type of room on the app, I was told they had no rooms of that type available so they had to move me, smaller room of course for the same price. Hotel felt like a $50-60/night hotel instead of north of $100/night. With a bunch of other hotels close by, Id consider other options next time.
