  Nice Hotel But Skip the Breakfast

  This is a relatively new hotel and I have not stayed at it before since other hotels in the area offered a better price and were closer to where I needed to be. But this is clearly the best hotel in Carrollton GA for quality of room and amenities, and it's very close to restaurants on the square. The trade-off is a higher price and a very pricey breakfast venue with mediocre fare. We pre-paid an additional $15 for "free" breakfast (2 persons), only to find that we were limited to $20 in entrees and coffee (Starbucks). But coffee re-fills were free. If I stayed again, I would likely venture out to a local coffee shop.

  Fabulous

  I realize that we are in a pandemic however I believe the courtesy extended to my wife and I would have been the same during normal times. Seth the manager let us check in before noon and normal check in time is 3:00 PM. It was by far one of the nicest, cleanest , most comfortable rooms that we have ever stayed in. Bed was superb the shower had the controls on the opposite end so you could adjust the water prior to getting wet. The hotel looked, smelt, and felt clean we felt very safe staying there. It all comes back to service and Seth deserves multiple stars for his welcoming hospitality and professional and courteous demeanor. I would never consider staying anywhere else if I was in a 100 mile radius of this establishment. Also the square is within walking distance. Stay here if you get the opportunity you will be glad that you did

  Great downtown location

  My first time here. Very friendly check in receptionist. Property is downtown and near many great restaurants and shops. Rooms are large, modern and well appointed. Very quiet property. My only dig was the hallway on the 5th floor was very dirty in many places. Otherwise a very good stay.

  Great three days

  Spent three nights for business in the area. Room was great, quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was fabulous. Breakfast at the cafe was good and Starbucks coffee was great. Special shout out to a custodian I met while doing laundry. Comfortable outdoor seating as well. Great job on cleanliness!

  We weren't guests. We were family.

  By court order, my daughter and I only get to see my grandchildren for six hours a month, and if we take them to our home, we live far enough away that we have to spend three of those hours in the car. I called several hotels in Carrollton, explaining the situation and telling them that I needed to rent a room from eleven in the morning till five at night to give us a place to open Christmas presents and have a little fun with the children before we lost them again for the rest of the month. i asked if they could guarantee early check-in. The other hotel managers just parroted policy: no guarantees before three o'clock. But that changed when I talked to Jeri at the Carrollton Courtyard by Marriott. She treated me like family. She made sure we would be able to have the room by eleven, processed our check-in, and then recommended that we come prepared to enjoy the indoor heated pool. Thanks to her, we arrived with swimsuits and pool toys as well as the Christmas presents. The children LOVED the pool! On our day of arrival, Jeri was there again to make sure that everything went well. She checked us in with a big smile and worked with me throughout the day to make the whole day special. She consulted on local restaurants, gave me detailed directions, and even dug through donated coupons to get us 15 percent off at a local ice cream parlor. Thanks to Jeri and Courtyard, my poor divided family was able to make happy Christmas memories this year. She and the rest of the Courtyard staff really went above and beyond, and will stay in my heart and my prayers forever.
