  Im so glad I booked a stay here! I grabbed a King room (they all have balconies) and it was exactly what I needed for some true rest and relaxation. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful, took great precautions with Covid (though a few guests were not) and I appreciated it. Because of Covid and it being a solo trip, I wasnt planning on leaving the room much. I brought a few good books, opened the balcony door to hear the ocean and didnt close it until I left 2 days later! There were several restaurants within walking distance (recommended by the front desk) that were absolutely amazing and a mini fridge in the room so I could enjoy leftovers. *Shoutout to Kates Pancake House and Michelangelos Pizza A great place to stay with an oceanfront view and perfect for enjoying sunrises on a quiet beach - will definitely be back!

  Great location in the heart of Carolina Beach

  We visit the hotel regularly when we visit our son who works on a charter boat in Carolina Beach #wildrover2 #captaindavetilly. The staff at reception always welcomes us and the rooms are clean. Even the housekeeping staff greets us on the way to our room.

  Mini vacation

  I had an excellent time at my stay here! We could see the beach from our room and it was a beautiful view. The front desk staff were friendly everyday I was there and always were helpful. If your coming to stay at this beach this is the spot to pick! Ill definitely be back :)

  Disappointed

  The hotel is nice, but a few things really bothered me. First, it sounded like someone using a hammer all day every day in room next door. The fitted sheet seems almost too small for the bed and kept popping off, creating the thick mattress pad getting bunched up and the duvet seemed very short. The second night there was such a loud mechanical noise that actually sounded like someone was running a cart up and down the hallway. Also, several people parked over the lines so I had to park at the far end of the lot, and being a single female this left me uncomfortable. As the hotel was full there was no use complaining as I couldnt have changed rooms. Ill choose another hotel next time Im visiting my son.

  Birthday trip

  Pros : rooms are large, clean , staff friendly Cons : only had 2 towels and wash cloths in room for 4 adults , bathtub needs to be replaced or refinished, bed is very soft rolls you to the middle of the bed Staff did bring us extra towels immediately when I notified them . We then ran out of toilet paper and I could not call or make request through app for some reason, my husband went down to request that and ask for a couple more towels , the staff informed him he was supposed to request 24 hours ahead of time, he did give them to him however informed him wed have to pay for them if we did not put the dirty ones in basket at elevator, really? Oh yes balcony is very small
