    Great place!

    Very nice hotel. Nice outdoor area to sit outside of the pool. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and clean. Really comfortable beds. Close to shopping and restaurants. Nice options for staying in to eat as well.

    Bad Customer Service

    My husband and I have stayed at this Hotel several times in the past and have had a nice experience, but this time it was not. We have no complaints about the room or the check -in experience, they were very friendly. We were in town for business, going to an open house and this was the hotel that had been reserved with a block of rooms. We had enough Marriott points to book a room instead of paying for it. When we got to the hotel, the woman checking us in asked us if we were here for business or pleasure and we said business. She asked which group we were with and we told her. She then told us we get a free breakfast with this and proceeded to write out a coupon for the morning. We were not expecting this so it was a nice surprise. Coming to breakfast the next morning we were not on the list and we were sent to the front desk where the woman coldly said that we are not to have the breakfast because we booked with points, and took away our coupons. Being in customer service myself I was not very happy. If someone is given something by the hotel then it should not be taken back, this is so wrong! Even if it costs the hotel they should have honored the coupons. I sent a message to Marriott about this situation. I have not heard back from corporate or the Hotel itself, not even an acknowledgment. All I can say is I will never stay at that hotel again and frankly will look for other options besides Marriott if possible wherever I go. They obviously couldn't care less about my loyalty.

    Standard Courtyard w/ some annoyances

    This Courtyard is a standard version of the brand, with slightly older furniture. Location is easy off the freeway, being only 10 or so minutes from great dining options. Stayed for business, so not sure if distance fo attractions. Visited during the coronavirus scare, so the Bistro was closed. I suspect it has more to do with occupancy (only three other cars in parking lot), rather than a concern for our well being as explained by FD staff. Free parking in the lot. TV has both Showtime and HBO for free, great for catching up on your shows from home. Front door staff was friendly and engaging. Main reason for the four stars instead of five: AC issues. The AC never really cooled down the room. I set it at its lowest setting, but room was still very warm. Also, no option to have continuous fan running, so the loud noise of it coming on and off was annoying. Unable to get a good sleep due to the warmth of the room.

    Perfect Courtyard

    The service at the courtyard perfect. The Price is Right. I'm a platinum member and they upgraded me to a king suite which was awesome. The rooms are clean spacious with very tall ceilings. They are up-to-date in the linens are perfect. They don't have a courtyard like the traditional ones but rather they have a nice indoor pool area and a gazebo this tucked away in the trees out back which makes for a nice quaint setting. Located right off the highway for convenient location so you don't get any of the highway noise inside. The area around it is gorgeous with all these new expensive homes. Some very nice restaurants within a mile. Parking is free. The ceilings in the room are very tall. No complaints.

    Great services and Great COVID precautions

    Easy access off 96. Quick check in. Very clean and friendly. I was in town for the High School State Soccer Finials. First trip for me and this Courtyard did not disappoint. Like I stated earlier, easy access off highway 96, many restaurants within 1 mile and FANTASTIC service. I was able to check in sooner than expected. Hotel was up-to-date, had my choice of shampoo, Paul Mitchel Tea Tree, ready for use in the shower. Two entries to parking lot for easy acess. One one main road other on less traveld road, so no matter which way you need to go its quick and easy. Less than 2 mile drive to the Stryker sports complex. I encourage you to stay here on your next visit to East Wichita. I will be here next year for sure.
