  1 Night - New and Fresh

  This looks and feels like a brand new hotel. The staff was friendly. The room was huge and comfortable. The gym was large with plenty of new treadmills, elliptical machines, bikes and weights. There is a pool too. It was quiet and comfortable. This is a very nice newer version of a consistent product.

  Just Not That Good

  Got a room at this BRAND NEW Courtyard. Thought it would be a great experience - sorry to say it was not. The room was really cold - so I turned on the heat and it was so noisy - every time it kicked on durning the night (which was often) it woke me up. In fairness, the check in staff was pleasant, the room was nice, clean and the bed was comfy - but in a brand new hotel one expects a decent HVAC system. Then in the morning, I wanted a cup of coffee while I was getting ready - so I went down to the Starbucks place to get one. There were a couple of folks waiting to be waited on. And a couple of servers scurrying around fulfilling what looked like carry out orders (ordered by the APP I guess) in the back. I get that the whole app thing is lucrative for Starbucks - but geez - what about the poor customers that bother to show up in person. All I wanted was just a plain cup of coffee. All of us - finally gave up and left. I mentioned to the desk clerk that it might be nice to have complimentary grab and go coffee station for their guests - and she informed me that Starbucks would not allow them to "give it away" - but I could get Starbucks in the room machine - Yuk - we all know how often they clean those things - NO WAY! - so I went without coffee and I am still grumpy about it. Last year I stayed at the nice Holiday Inn next door - will stay there next year. Sorry Marriott.

  Enjoyed our stay at Courtyard West Toledo for business

  We had a king room with sofa and we were very happy with the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The hotel was near our meeting place and not far from groceries and several restaurants. Amber at the front desk was nice and helpful. Look forward to coming back soon.

  Outstanding experience

  If stopping in Toledo, I highly recommend this hotel!! The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern!! One of the best things about the hotel was the professional and super friendly staff! It made for a wonderful travelling experience! Can't wait to stay there again!!

  Hockey Tournament Stay

  We stayed here for two nights in January and two nights in February, both for hockey games. This hotel does a great job accommodating large groups. The lobby is large and inviting, but also had smaller nooks for TV watching. There were two conference rooms that could be reserved. The staff was very flexible and gracious. The bar tender is creative and made me a delicious minty martini. We booked the breakfast package on one stay, and it was worth the price. Otherwise, breakfast is not included. There are a number of restaurants that one can walk to. Getting to the hotel is challenging. WAZE actually directed me to the backside of the hotel that ended in a dead end in an apartment complex. Traffic on Secor Road is a mess.
