Clean and updated hotelThe Courtyard by Marriott Providence Airport is a clean an updated hotel. Due to Covid no food or restaurants. Clean and social distancing observed. Felt comfortable and safe. TV was very small. Would stay again.

Below AverageI have reserved a king bed room and when I reached the hotel the supervisor checked me in a two bed room claiming several times that I booked through a "third party with a discounted rate" as if I was doing something wrong. Anyway, I wouldn't have known about this hotel if it wasn't for booking.com. Although the hotel looks empty and after I was trying to address that I am not happy, she told me I am sorry I don't have any availability. The next day they kept calling and knocking the door from 10am (two hours before my check out) to make my stay even more irritating. I was very disappointing to get such a treatment from a Marriott chain hotel.

DisappointedExtremely disappointed with my stay here. The deadbolt on the door was broken, there was only 1/4 roll of toilet paper when we arrived, and the elevator was broken. I tried to reach the front desk with no response - phone just rang and rang. I had to find a housekeeper to ask for more TP.At check in I asked for a late checkout of 30 minutes past regular checkout. The staff person said that would be noted. Five minutes before regular checkout a staff member loudly pounded on my room door and stated that it was time to check out. When I asked about the 30 minutes I had requested he said there was no late checkout offered today. Overall, staying at this hotel was not a positive experience.

Terrible service, weed smell everywhere, staff liesI made a reservation requesting a room for 5 adults. And the only and only reason we booked this hotel was because it could fit 5 adults. I requested a rollaway bed. I was told by phone (twice) before arrival, then at check in that the bed should be in the room and if not to just call. My kids were already sleeping when we got to the room, so we decided to just ask the next day. On our way our, we talked again to Madison (she checked us in the night of arrival), and I discussed with her twice that morning to please have the extra bed in the room by when we got there that night, and towels because we were given three (for 5 adults). When we got back that night we didnt have the bed or towels. I called back to the front desk and now for the first time, after 5 interactions, we are told that due to fire codes we cant have the extra bed. But she also tells me that the chair I have in my room is an extra bed... it wasnt despite of her insisting that it was. Lets also comment that the entire hotel smelled like weed, so bad , that you can smell it in the rooms. The carpets were dirty every where. We were there for a family death, not for fun, otherwise we would have left. The last day I spoke with Greg (manager) that was dressed so casual that I couldnt believe he was the manager... I have traveled around the world and stayed at many different facilities and I have never seen such a poor representation of the position. Not only in the way he was dressed, but his poor interaction skills. We for sure will never ever be back.

GuestOne of the worst stays ever at a Marriott hotel. While the front desk staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, repeated attempts to have issues with our stay went unanswered by management in the hotel.
