  Beach Trip 2019

  One night stop over on our way to the beach. Check in was quick and nice. Room was very comfortable, bed was excellent. Room was very clean. Air conditioner worked great. Hotel is about a mile off of the interstate and was very quite. Several restaurants within a mile of this location. Thanks for a great stay!

  Never again

  We booked this room based on pictures shown online. We wanted a king room with a sofa bed, but we wanted a door between the two beds, and that is what I selected online. I didnt discover until after we checked in that the room did not have the required door between the two beds. There were no rooms available like the one I wanted, so we spent two unfruitful hours with a Marriott customer service representative trying to resolve the situation. We then checked out and went to another hotel that was perfectly accommodating. First they credited my credit card account, but they charged it again today. They are refusing to refund my money because I was on the phone for two hours talking to Marriott customer service.

  Weekend Away

  The hotel room was nice....the a/c would never turn on unless you turned it down to 68...nice location. They really need to walk the hallways at night because I could definitely smell someone smoking something illegal and it stank up the hallway and came into our room. Check your washers...towels smelled like mildew..all in all...not bad but definitely room to improve.

  Nice room but needs better service

  First of all the good- very nice and super clean room. Loved the layout. However- most of housekeeping staff was not friendly. We walked in bar on Saturday evening and literally had to wait for the customer in front of us to leave so we could order only to be told that it was closed, I felt like he should have offered to make us one round and explained they were closed. We also got a note under our door that they were going to be steamcleaning the room our last day or the day we left. It gave instructions for getting room ready. We did what they said but they didnt do it that day. Felt like that could have been handled better.

  Roomy suite

  We reserved a balcony suite with separate bedroom. We had not stayed at a Courtyard by Marriott before and were pleasantly surprised. When we checked-in we were assigned a room on the first floor with a patio near one end of the hotel. This worked out very well as I was able to park right outside the hotel door at that end and it was actually easier to load the luggage without getting a luggage cart, the room was that close to the exit. The room itself was very nice. The rooms were large, clean, living room had a sofa and a couple chairs and the bedroom had a chair as well. This type suite really has a good amount of room! Also, the mini fridge was quite large for a mini fridge and this was greatly appreciated! Having researched literally all the other hotels in Hattiesburg, the Courtyard was the only one that had what we wanted: separate bedroom with a king bed and separating door, microwave and mini fridge, and a balcony or patio. This is easily one of the best rooms in Hattiesburg! The hotel staff were warm and accommodating. Overall this is a nice hotel and worth the stay!
