  Okay hotel, away from downtown

  Typical Courtyard, nothing special. I had dinner at the hotel, a spinach/dates salad. The person at the Bistro had a hard time getting it right - no dates in the first round. Finally, he had to make it again and it took a while.

  Clean, but cramped

  Although the renovations have made this to be a very nice and clean hotel my stay in a suite with a king bed and pull out couch the experience was cramped for just two people. Bathroom was cramped and had one mirror...just ONE in the whole room! For a suite, I guess I'd expect the bathroom area to be set up to accommodate more than one person. Therefore, the rating above. I feel that the design of the room and use of space was poor at best (no reflection of the hotel itself but of the corporation). The bedroom area was simple and the king-size bed was comfortable. This would have been a great place to put up a mirror! The sitting area in the suite was not very comfortable or encouraging to have more than one or two people in it. Seating on the couch was horrible and the one little chair available was uncomfortable and small. The pull-out couch was used and was not completely uncomfortable nor encouraging to sleep on. The bad here was I had to make up my own pull-out bed. This was after we had to ask for sheets, pillow and blanket for the bed...Housekeeping should have done it at the time of remaking the room for the day (or turnover from a previous visitor). No frills and/or free continental breakfast if you are interested in that. No free coffee - very different from other hotels (hotel chains) that I've stayed at. Would I stay here again, maybe. Prefer to look else where next time.

  Wonderful Stay

  This hotel has been recently completely renovated. It was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The staff was very friendly. I wasnt feeling well so we stayed in and got food from the Bistro Bar and took it back to our room. Mary Ellen at the Bistro Bar was great! I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

  I would stay here again...

  Property is well located near I40 with plenty of options for food and shopping if needed. Hotel is clean and renewed with excellent public spaces - multiple lobby areas to congregate, watch TV, fireplace, outdoor fire pit (in a courtyard). Lobby Bistro has Starbucks coffee, lattes etc. Food and bar offerings are adequate for this type of hotel. Staff is very friendly. King bed with pullout (twin) is a bit cramped by doable. Bathrooms have been updated with walk in showers (tight if you are a bigger person). Recommend asking for a room away from Wendover Avenue as emergency vehicles fly up and down all day and night with sirens blaring. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here if visiting the area.

  Good Value

  Stayed here for two nights while visiting Greensboro. The rooms were fairly inexpensive and included breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was quite good and the service exceptional. The lobby has been updated and was very nice. The rooms had been updated too, but were a bit small.
