Great hotel with awesome staff; a little noisyA group of us stayed here while participating in a workshop over the weekend. Rooms were in very good condition and very clean. Staff service was excellent. Also enjoyed the onsite bar. However, the rooms on the front side of the hotel were slightly noisy, given that I-85 is practically right outside the front door. If staying here, I would request a room on the back side of the hotel, especially if you are a light sleeper. The proximity to other businesses and restaurants is very good. Overall, a great hotel.

Good enough but not great. Much better places close by.First off let me start by saying that every employee we met was very friendly and customer service oriented. The place is lower/middle of the road for a Courtyard. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Main issue was the noise from the road, noise from the AC/Heater unit (sounds like a truck starting when it turns on and off) and the worst part was no free coffee and no breakfast. They have what they call a Bistro but to me it looked like a mini Starbucks. They gave me a card for one free cup of coffee. The website claims a full breakfast but if it was there it was very well hidden. No one we were with was able to find it. I have never seen a hotel that does not have pots of free coffee out for guests. I only stay about 120 nights a year in hotels so perhaps I am not up to speed. Parking lot is kind of small and tight. I would stay here again if I had to but it would not be in my top 3 or 4 choices.

Beware of renovationsWe stayed 2 nights - during the week - at this hotel. Its very convenient, right off I85. Its near everything - Walmart, Chick-fil-A, etc. The hotel is dated but clean and beds are comfortable. Downside: There is a lot of banging, nailing, drilling by 8am, so good luck sleeping in. Its an average hotel and reasonably priced. I may go back after renovations.

The worst property in the Marriott System by far!!!!!I am a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member and currently Titanium Elite Member. I have stayed at hundreds of Marriott properties around the world and this one is by far the worst in the system. We had a terrible experience at this property. My wife found blood on her pillow case. We called the front desk and were questioned if it was our blood. When I said no we asked for anew pillow to be brought up. We were told we don't do that here you need to come down. We went down and were given a new pillow by a team member from the back. If they were not helping a guest why they couldn't come to the second floor I have no idea. Then our air conditioning broke in the middle of the night making a noise like a freight train was in the room. I had to turn the temperature up and the room was sweltering. Needless to say we did not have a good nights sleep. When I spoke to the manager in the morning and asked for my money back for the night stay I was told I couldn't be refunded just given Marriott points. At this point we decided to leave as the property is under construction and was dirty. I told the manger a Ms. Star Thompson that I was going to contact Marriott Corporate and American Express to dispute the charge i was told if i did that I would not be welcome back and would be banned from the property for life. I was dropping off my child at Elon University and guess where I won't be staying for the next 4 years when I visit. Ms. Thompson had an attitude during several interactions during our stay. And to top it all off no free water for elite members. Marriott should revoke this properties franchise.

Stay somewhere elseSecondary to Covid, with the growing number of cases and staff shortages, I booked this hotel for my freshman daughter, because she was traveling back alone to Elon University and we had stayed there previously. As I have status with Marriott Bonvoy, I assumed she would be well taken care of and called the hotel in advance . She was given a room with a TV that did not work, there was a "bug" in her bed(but a large one...so assuming not bed bugs and the toiletries had mold on them. Worst ever experience ever at a Marriott/Bonvoy property,
