    Disappointment. I'll use D throughout to shorten my description.

    We had a visit with relatives close by, so booked this Courtyard expecting the usual good service, clean room, etc. In lobby greeted by the desk agent with no mask. D. Given room on second floor, no elevator. D. The hallway to the room felt like 85 degrees and smelled like pot. D. The no smoking room smelled faintly of tobacco, just enough to bother you. D. The middle drawer of the dresser was open. When closed, it opened again. Had to wedge paper in the crack to hold it in place. D. The light over the sink was burned out. D. The sink filled with water but took hours to drain. D. The Kleenex dispenser was empty. Stains on the carpet were colorful, but disturbing. D. Scotch tape on the ceiling hinted of a previous celebration of sorts. Am I the only one to notice? D. Thermostat set to 70 for two days never went below 74. D. The lock on the sliding door to the balcony did not work. D. There was a fold down burglar bar that did work. When trying to lock the sliding door, noticed the AC wall unit had an assortment of dust and crumbs of some sort. D. Why didn't you report all this? You might ask. Every time I tried to call the front desk there was nothing but a fast busylike signal on the line. Didn't want to go down to have the conversation with someone not wearing a mask. Do yourself a favor, make a different choice.

    READ OTHER REVIEWS! Even before Covid, this would be unacceptable!

    We have always trusted Marriott properties; however, this one was very different. The employees not wearing masks, the lobby was dirty/un-vacuumed, and the first room we were sent to was not clean. The bed was made, and there was a sock in the bed. Also, there was food in the refrigerator. We were sent to another room that seemed marginally cleaner; however, the door between the rooms (139) appeared to be pried/broken (see photos) as did one of the doors outside the hotel. Black handprints were smeared on the bathroom wall (see photos)...Dried up, dead pots plants were around the pool, large weeds growing through the monkey grass filthy windows. Definitely not the Marriott we know! We shopped around looking for cleaner hotels in the area since we have business nearby and discovered our best bet is probably the Hampton Inn across LaVista.

    BED BUGS!!!!

    We booked this hotel on the fly for a quick, inexpensive 2 night stay. We checked in at around 8:30 pm. The room was decent and clean on first glance until we noticed the dirty pillows and sheets on the bed. Even the towels were dirty and we had to request clean ones. Oh, and the room's telephone did not work, so we had to call the hotel directly from our personal phones. Those were minor issues in comparison to what I am about to say. No more than 4 hours from check in, we noticed one bug on the bed...then another...and another! THEY WERE BED BUGS!!!! We immediately called front desk (from our personal phone again) to tell them about the issue and to inform them that we were checking out right away! The front desk clerk did not seem surprised by the information. On the way out, we brought all the bugs that we noticed in a plastic cup to the front desk...there was a total of 6 bugs! Well be requesting a full refund.

    WTF!!?

    Highly unsatisfied..... whomever took over this property are not doing their jobs.... The management of this hotel are RUDE!!!! and very UNPROFESSIONAL. I suggest that the owner IMMEDIATELY find new management or they will LOSE more business than just mine.

    Marriott where ???

    This place is falling apart Hot water runs out No towels or wash cloths A.C unit leaks and barely works Phones didnt dial out Toilet in my room leaked bathroom light didnt work Mildew on the wall service was lazy no house keeping found old food behind my dresser and a HUGE FLYING ROACH HUGE !!!!!! I intended to stay for a few days as I always have but the new management and owners are running the place like a Ramada inn this used to be my favorite spot now its turning to a hole in the wall I exited my stay early and went to the doubletree for $60 cheaper and enjoyed myself this place needs to do better.
