This will be a 5 star when all services and ammenities are back to Pre-Covid state. We stay here frequently when in town to visit family. The staff are excellent ambassadors for Marriott, very friendly, non-intrusive, helpful and quick to respond to requests. It's been hit or miss if the restaurant was open, lately it's been breakfast only on a few days of the week. It's not bad food, but frankly we usually pick a diner down the street or grab a bagel at Einsteins a few blocks away. We were thrilled to see the pool has been reopened--reservations required and for 45 minute chunks to allow for limited guests and cleaning between guests using the pool. I wish we could have taken advantage of it. Housekeeping is fantastic--never a complaint and I don't mind that they don't clean our room daily-I don't do that at home either. This place looks and feels clean, the staff is welcoming, it's our hotel of choice in Albuquerque.

LOUD! Dusty & Dirty, Inside & Out!This hotel has potential to be beautiful. The decor is beautiful and the staff is friendly. However, the building is old. Our room was on the east side of the building, where most of the double queen beds are. Unfortunately, this is also the side where I-25 is. Didn't get ANY sleep the first night because of the noise from the highway. Sounded like semi trucks were in the room with us. If you stay here, definitely request a room on the west side of the building. The first night we also had bad allergy attacks. Looked in the air conditioner filter, and sure enough, was filthy. There was also a large layer of dirt and dust underneath the ac unit; looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or dusted in years. The second night, we requested a new room on the west side. It was quiet, but again, the air filter in the a/c unit was filthy. Also, there were no pillow covers on the back pillows on the bed. The outside of the building had cigarette butts, lighters, dog poop, and trash all around the building. It's kind of like their house keeping department has given up during covid. Also, no breakfast served Sunday or Monday. Pool times must be reserved and there weren't many spots available. If you dare to forget your mask in your room and try to rush out through the front lobby to your car, even if there is NOONE in the lobby but you and a staff member who is 15' feet away from you, you will still get "Talked to" about wearing a mask. Overall, this wasn't a very pleasant stay. We were disappointed because we thought the Courtyard was supposed to be one of the nicer hotels in Albuquerque. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Overnight at the Courtyard with PuppyWe had a great overnight stay at the Courtyard Albuquerque North with our family and golden retriever puppy. We had a quick, easy check in experience with Rae Lynn, who also made us a pool reservation due to Covid restrictions. Our room was spotlessly clean, and has been completely sanitized. They even cleaned the remote control for the TV. The room had been recently renovated with faux wood floors, which were great with the dog. The grounds are beautiful, New Mexico hacienda style. The location is a little isolated, there is a Cabelas and delicious Restoration Pizza (run by a local brewery) within walking distance, but for everything else youll need a car. Target and a huge variety of shops are right across the freeway. If youre planning on staying a few days and sightseeing you may want to find a more central location, but for our overnight the Courtyard Albuquerque was everything we needed.

Nicely designed but still lackingThe decor of this hotel is beautiful though a little impractical in some ways and there were small details about things that just seemed more of a nuisance for design sake. The staff is super friendly, but the COVID protocols made the amenities (pool, restaurant) pointless. Also I found it really strange that there was no business center despite a host of meeting rooms. Lots of shops and quick food nearby.
