  Best hotel in Texas

  Great location quiet and expertly managed by a staff that bends over backwards to insure your stay is pleasant. This hotel is an oasis in central Texas. Located south of town with easy access to interstate 20.

  Frequent Traveler

  As a frequent traveler ( > 2 weeks/month) I appreciate a good hotel when I stay at one. The staff of this property is in large part what make this hotel so great! Very highly recommend to any traveler, business or pleasure, single or family. The Courtyard Marriott Abilene Northeast which is connected to the Towneplace Suites is ideally located a short distance from the interstate in Abilene, TX. Rooms are well appointed, beds comfortable, always very clean and well maintained, and the staff make you feel like a guest staying at an overnight bed and breakfast with very personable and hospitable service. I am not one to generally write travel reviews unless I have had a bad experience, but this Marriott branded property stands out above the many I have visited and I feel it was worth a few minutes of my time to share.

  Great stay for Thanksgiving!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott, as we were in town to see family for Thanksgiving. It was a clean, modern place to stay, and we took advantage of the spacious lobby and the Bistro quite a bit. The staff were all very professional and pleasant, and the hotel was immaculate overall. The only issue we had was the beds. They were super springy (anytime anyone moved, it felt like waves on a choppy ocean) and uncomfortable, but I've never found a comfortable bed in a hotel in my life. This is a small issue in the grand scheme of things, and I definitely recommend this hotel.

  First time traveling - post Covid

  This was our first time traveling post Covid. We just checked in and both folks at the front desk were NOT wearing masks. Its a state law at the moment. A good many of the other guests were also not wearing masks. Im wouldnt ask that the staff become mask police, but by not wearing masks the staff sets an example. The hotel property itself is fine and up to par. The staff was friendly albeit mask less. This would be a 4/5 star without this issue. Just wanted to warn other guests who may view this as an important issue.

  Great stay...

  Stayed here for an extended period and was very happy with the facility. Friendly staff, including Bobby and Warren going above and beyond. Kitchenette was greatly appreciated. Laundry facility was excellent. Didn't utilize the gym but it seemed to be all I would need. The bed was comfy and the room had enough light control for me to sleep comfortably during the day. Highly recommended.
