  Todo correcto. Buena relación calidad-precio

  La ubicación frente a la playa fue lo mejor. Lo malo es que el wifi no funcionaba bien. En la habitación no había. Nuestra habitación era demasiado oscura pero había otras que estaban mejor. Todo correcto.

  Nicely located,like a little village

  Room was large,clean.Too noisy from frogs or crickets at might.It is in the country.People in adjoining bungalows and rooms can be heard.Nice staff,especially the.Nina,and housekeeper Noelle. Hot shower,nice beach right on the premises.Restaurants right on beach.Too bad for all the smoking..I don't smoke and hate that European folks do,right when you eat.Great weather,best part,the ferry to fort de france,the capital,and other beaches..

  Birthday beach

  I absolutely loved my bungalow. I was a few feet away from the beach. Everything you need is right there. Hotel staff was very accommodating and spoke good English. The ferry dock is right outside the gate. Restaurants and beach activities are just outside the gate. I had no complaints and will be returning in a week.

  Quoted one price, charged another

  I was looking for lodging that was sold out on travel sites so I contacted the property directly. They quoted me a price of 763 euros for 7 nights and requested a 50% deposit (which would be 381.50 euros). I asked about their cancellation policy and they didn't respond. Nonetheless I didn't expect to cancel so I gave them my credit card number and they charged me 450 euros. They deleted the email in the chain with the 763 euro quoted. I asked them twice for an explanation and they didn't respond. Then I told them I wanted to cancel because I could not stay there under those circumstances and they have ignored me. I can't say they are deliberately cheating me, maybe they made a mistake in the original quote, but you don't quote one price and then charge another. They have no business ethics.

  Down at Heel Motel

  More like a motel, with a balcony, in our case overlooking other cabins and no room for dining on it. The kitchenette had a hole cut for a hob but no hob, just chipboard over it. The MDF on other units was cracked. The fridge door was rusty. The shower worked but the curtain was set too high, ie. above the shower tray, so we always flooded the bathroom. You get the picture. On top of that sewage pipes from an upstairs room ran through our room, uninsulated, so just hope they don't flush late at night if you stay in Piment. The beach looked ok, but water clarity was not good and the measured quality was "medium" when we were there. Half the restaurants/bars on the beach were closed (in mid-February). The receptionists were good and helpful, but it was the only place we stayed in Martinique that we were asked for a (200 EUR) deposit, but what would we want to steal ???
