  Hidden oasis

  I have stayed here a few times and found it peaceful and quiet fern and her staff are professional and courteous and will go out of there way to help you with what you need. My iPhone was no good 15 minutes later her son came around next day phone was perfect. Anyone that put up with my drunken antics must be doing something right I would recommend this place to anyone that likes to be close to the nightlife and major shopping plazas and far enough to enjoy peace and quiet

  What a lovely Resort ,, everthing good ,food ,Pool , Room, and Fern is Beautiful Lady owner,,

  Had a good night here and so close to the center of Udon ,just walked in and out for a Beer Fern was so friendly and welcoming ,, Good Breakfast ,,at a very good Price ,, YOU Not get service like this in a big hotel and pay twice the Price ,,

  a little off the beaten path, but otherwise a most excellent choice

  country view resort is my destination of choice when visiting udon thani. clean (although small) cottages, good food and drink, excellent service, well-kept grounds and a clean swimming pool earn country view resort 5 stars. the staff will go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that guests have a pleasant experience.

  Relaxing escape

  We stayed here a few nights and this was a gem for such a budget price! Room was clean, good hot water/pressure and working tv, AC and Wi-Fi. There's also a pool table, free bicycle rentals and clothes racks. The hotel is surrounded by homes, but food can be found within 10 mins walk or you can use the free bicycles available at the hotel. The night market was a bit if a walk (maybe 40 mins?) But would be a short tuk tuk or bike ride for those who don't want to walking at far. Staff were amazing, friendly and always happy to help with a smile. The pool was ideal spot to relax and the resort's restaurant was great for those times we didn't feel like venturing out. The staff were also happy to help out with directions and calling tuk tuks when needed.

  Peaceful

  This very authentic Thai almost motel like property has great atmosphere and is a perfect place to chill for a couple of days. The owner Fern is very friendly and well meaning but there is little information provided about surrounding sites available. Pros: Clean large room in the Deluxe Bungalow at a very reasonable price. Coffee making and even a small kitchen for those interested in a long stay. Hot water, daily cleaning if you leave the room key up front. Nice seating area outside the sliding doors great for a relaxing evening drink. We did not eat here so cannot comment on the food. I did have a bit of laundry done came back fresh and clean no complaints - again reasonable cost. Pool was awesome for cooling off although small never had an issue with too many people around. Super clean too with interesting decor there and in the surrounding property. Cons: Sliding screen door need some repairs, towels are rather rough and threadbare could use an upgrade although for the cost cant really complain. Location very peaceful but requires a tuk tuk at night if you want to get to Udon Town where very good cheap food awaits. Toiletries consist of a small bar of soap daily so bring your own shampoo or shower gel if needed.
