  Decent Hotel at Out of Town Area

  The hotel is located at out of town area. My room is large, clean and service is excellent. Breakfast is also excellent with sufficient varieties. The air conditioner is strangely mounted at a compartment located at exterior wall, rather than the usual position at corridor outside of bathroom. Generally, I'm satisfy with my 3 nights stay here. There were few heavy vehicles parked outside the hotel and I'm was always awaked when the engines of these heavy vehicles turned on at 6.00am every day.

  Enjoyable stay in this Chinese style hotel

  The hotel is located conveniently for a stay in Longjiang town of Foshan. There is a mall and a few restaurants/stores right next to the hotel. A swimming pool outside, a very nice gym on the ground floor. The gym is membership-based, so there will be a lot of people who're not hotel guests. There is even a boxing ring inside! The room itself was a typical Chinese style 4-4+ room. Clean sheets. One of the staff spoke decent English. The overall service was pretty good. The breakfast was 95% Chinese, the only Western food present was toasts. One negative - there were a few interruptions with the water flow in the shower. Overall - this is probably the nicest hotel in this area, so would stay again.

  All of good

  Everything are good!!!!! Nice hotel , nice staffs !!!! I come here for business , good location for purchase furnitures. Breakfast also taste good . All kind of shop behind this hotel, very convenient.Will come back again ~~~~

  Conveniently located hotel with well appointed rooms

  Shunde is a thriving port city of 1.2 million people. Longjian is a suburb of Shunde. The Country Garden Phoenix Hotel Longjian is a typical 4-star hotel with Chinese comfort. The rooms are spacious, the beds rather hard, but offered a good night's sleep. The facilities include a sofa, a large desk, a well-functioning WIFI and kettle for tea/coffee. The bathroom is equipped with a free-standing tub and a shower. The breakfast is geared to suit Chinese guests. Not much for Western guests, just some toast bread. In the hotel's own restaurant, which is more suitable for business with food served in separate rooms, is no English menu card. Next to the hotel there is a small shopping centre with a supermarket, a KFC and a Macdonald's. There are plenty restaurants in 10 minutes walking distance next to the Marriott. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a fitness center which allows access against a fee to non-hotel guests. The staff is always attentive and polite, but almost no one speaks a word of English.

  Could be better

  Stayed in this hotel for the past four evening, and I have to say the surrounding is really pretty. Especially the room I stayed in, was with both lake, and lot of green view. The room was spacious, and a bit old, the washroom have lot of black spots. One thing could be better,; is the Chinese restaurant inside of the hotel. I was inform after dinner that I am not allow to charge to the room, cause it is not part of the hotel. There were no sign, or information anywhere in the hotel to warn guest about this. This make me look a bit stupid in front of my guest.
