  Very Comfy Beds!

  We stayed in these chalets in May. They are absolutely spotless. The beds are so comfortable, had the best nights sleep. The grounds are neat and very well maintained. The owners dogs are so friendly, my daughter loved brushing the little shetland pony in their paddock. We had a bbq in the playground area. The bbq again was spotless. We also used the pot belly stove in the chalets (extra cost of $20), which made it very cosy at night. There is also reverse cycle heating/cooling. The location of the chalets is great, nice easy drive to the quaint little town.

  Loved this "Down on the farm" feeling

  This self contained Country Cottage filled that down on the farm feeling. The only thing missing was a milking cow. Very clean accommodation with comfy beds, great shower and choice of heating. We were greeted by the household pooches. Owners Roger and Luda, were lovely, very accommodating hosts. Especially when Luda had to run interference with the chookyard inhabitants who staged a sit-in on the driveway blocking us in. Day one, Ms Duck waddled up looking for a feed. Day two she brought two of her mates, by day 5, we had ducks, chooks, turkeys, and anything in between scrapping for food. Everything was available including laundry and pool. We loved the push bike hanging in the tree. Great place for kids to be. Will definately recommend and will definately be back.

  Enjoyable getaway

  Highly recommended for families with small children. The cottages were basic but well appointed and roomy. Good location within walking distance from town. The property has a range of farm animals and a pool. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and we are looking forward to staying here again.

  Good place to regenerate

  Rustic decor very well maintained, very clean, kitchen well equipped, quiet. Friendly reception. Close to the Blackwood River, river walk trail to Bridgetown, 1 1/4 hour return. We like this place and will return

  Family getaway

  Stayed here in 3 cabins with my extended family in January. Clean comfortable rooms. The kids liked the animals. Pool was unavailable but I was told that but their laundry area was unavailable too as no washing machine. Nice spot to unwind and relax.
