  Wonderful Gem

  Was posted here for a locum weekend shift; arriving in the late evening. Peter was delightful and very helpful. The room I had was in the east wing out the back with its own parking area. The room was stunning. Elegant bathroom with wonderful fixtures. Spacious room with small kitchenette, study table and sitting table with a sofa. The bed was comfortable with an electric blanket too (can get cold there for certain). The TV was new, with Netflix connected to high speed internet. Strong aircon meaning cool room in no time. Honestly was surprised and impressed with the room and DEFINETELY going to request to be posted here again the next time I am in Armidale. Peter, beautiful place, well done!

  Top spot

  Stayed in one of the recently renovated queen rooms and it was immaculate and comfortable. Peter is so welcoming and took the time to walk me out the front and tell me where to find all the nearby restaurants and cafes. The motel is conveniently located to all of them. Ignore older nreviews as they appear to be from a time before these owners took over and made this such a great place to stay. Always love it when I find a place like this because now when I come through Armidale I need not search I'll just straight here.

  Fantastic place, excellent service.

  Man, how stylish are county motels these days! Had a very good night here at Armidales Country Comfort. Peter and his staff are excellent, there is a free guest laundry (non of this coin operated nonsense). A very short walk to plenty of restaurants and a very quiet room, led to a great nights sleep.

  a great place to stay!

  Rooms are clean and modern, service from front desk was great- very helpful. We stayed at Tattersal's hotel the previous weekend , cost way more and enjoyed this stay way more for way less money. Can certainly recommend this palce!

  Great stopover

  We traveled the New England Highway stopping at Armidale overnight. We stayed in the East Wing suites. These rooms are relatively new and had everything we needed. Great size, modern fit out with great shower, King size bed, fridge and microwave, centrally located and quiet.The East wing has a private guest lounge and separate car park The hotel was soon to open a restaurant onsite. The gentleman checking us in was voluntarily super helpful.
