  Casa de Huespedes con encanto

  Fuimos a este hotel por recomendación de un amigo. Es más una casa de huéspedes con pocas habitaciones y trato familiar que un hotel. Es una maravilla tanto en su decoración cuidada hasta el último detalle con mimo. Pero aún más el trato recibido por sus dueños que te hacen sentir en todo momento como en casa. Parece que estás en casa de unos amigos. Además tiene un jardín muy bonito con piscina y el desayuno es excelente. A mejorar: Las camas son antiguas de forja, muy bonitas pero muy incómodas. No tienen servicio de limpieza diario y tienes que hacer tu la cama. Está a un paseito del centro de Grasse (20 minutos andando) y cuesta arriba la vuelta. Grasse no es un pueblo con especial encanto. En general está muy bien.

  Lovely stay but they need new beds and the cigarette smell!!

  This is a lovely B&B. The room had a beautiful view and was a nice size. The bed was probably a queen size but old and sagging. Did nothing for our backs. Good solid beds are essential for travellers. The ensuite was ok , The seperate toilet was very very small. Hard to close the door when sitting. The owner Pierre was very nice and informative. In reviews we had read a lot about the hospitality of the lady of the house but never set eyes on her. Access to the B&B was easy as was car parking. The breakfasts were fresh provided by Pierre and quite enjoyable with different pastries and other foods daily. . We were going to stay an additional night but the bad bed got to us as did the constant background of cigarette smoke. This is a really nice place and would be sensational if the rooms got a little makeover and the beds were new and comfortable and Pierre I don't know how you can cover up cigarette smoke but it certainly detracts from what is potentially a great B&B.

  A hillside villa with a spectacular view and garden...

  The villa built in the hills of Grasse for the Rothchilds is a nice B&B. The house has it charm decorated with antiques or objects acquired from his world travels,by the actual owner, Pierre, a charming and discrete man who makes you feel it is as much your house as his. The rooms are charming and very clean. The bed was nice and cosy. Some could complain there is no airco, for us it was a blessing since we hate it especially at night. Open the window and the fresh breeze will do better than any airco. The view in the back is breathtaking as you can see the coast and the sea. The hillside garden is absolutely luscious, a little wild, which gives it a even more natural forest touch. A lovely place to have your breakfast, which is more than you ever could eat. Down in the garden is a lovely swimming pool with real palm trees. A charming place with character and quietness. A good base to discover the other side of the Côte d'Azur, which as a lot more to offer than the overcrowded seaside. I'd given it an 'excellent ' but the villa is very hard to find, even with a GPS which confuses you even more as it takes you to an unknown address. Very complicated small roads to get there, especially at night. Grasse is a steep walk down, not far but hard especially if you're not that young anymore. This said we go back there without any reservation , at least for a couple of days as a stopover.

  Stylish bed and breakfast

  We stayed here for four nights. Nestling in the hills above Grasse, the balcony afforded us fantastic views down to the sea. Pierre greeted us on arrival and was so passionate about the areas and what we could do. He even gave us a glass of wine after our long journey. The room was nice Art Deco almost. One day we visited the pool which we had to ourselves. Breakfast was delicious, buffet style but plentiful and refreshing. The walk down to the town is harder on the way back clearly, but only 10 minutes. Restaurants ok one supermarket on main road . Overall we had a great time

  Excellent place to stay in ...

  Impressive B&B with very nice and helpful owners. Big rooms with fantastic view on Grasse city fully equipped and clean. Pictures shows you a very rich breakfast. Without a doubt this is where we will book again when coming back to Grasse
