  Estancia infernal: Calor, escaleras y mal olor

  El viaje fue con un bebe de 1 año. Overbooking en Iberostar Lindos Imperial y Marmara nos lleva a Costa Lindia. Estuvimos desde 3 am a 4 pm: 1 día. La noche calurosa, insoportable porque el aircondition no iba bien. La cuna, sin colchon (aunque si queíamos nos daban toallas para hacer de colchon). Cama de matrimonio inexistente. Habitación pequeña con una armario pequeño. Situacion, a nivel de calle (aunque los del piso superior, bajotejado, debían de estar como en una sauna. Nuestro bebe tenía 1 año, y el cochecito (pousette) tenías que utilizarlo a traves de cientos de escaleras. Es como un laberinto de pasillos y escaleras. En el desayuno, hubo una fuga de agus fecales en la zona de comida, que debías atravesar para coger cosas del buffet. La comida del desayuno, normal, y si llegabas tarde, no había ciertas cosas. La piscina, aparentemente muy bonita, pero incomoda. El servicio, no es de 5*. Lo mismo que nos pasó a nostros le pasó a todo el grupo. Algunos indignados, otros contentos por que nos daban un tout compris. La ubicación, un poco alejada. Nosotros, personalmente, preferimos otraz zonas de Lindos o Rodos city.

  Disappointed

  We stayed from the 7th-17th Oct 2020, we booked this 5 star all inclusive, as our 1st holiday this year, first impressions met by Dimitris in reception checked in shown to our room great start. Room was clean and tidy , not quite 5 stars though. Went to the bar ordered our first drink, not very good, poor quality, all the spirits that are available are local spirits & In my opinion also poor quality. Now the food, It is a buffet style dining , and the queues reminded me of my school days. Most of the food that was suppose be hot , was warm or cold , I tried beef that was very tough. The food was poor. Breakfast finishes at 11:00 so to avoid the crowds we went at 10:00 no fruit salad left when I enquired, I was told it was finished, after 4 day with no fruit salad I was told it was up to the chef , the hotel is a great hotel with it being on the beach , plenty of sun beds & pools to swim in. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. Very hard working , polite & a smile on their face. On our last evening, our toilet & drain hole in our bathroom backed up , no very pleasant. I reported this to the reception , a maintenance man came , as we was going out , I met the maid who informed me when the maintenance man had finished she would go in and clean , on our return at 02:30 , the blockage had gone but nothing cleaned , i reported this to the night reception, and went back to the room to clean the toilet & remove the soiled towels was used to stop water entering the room. So my final thoughts. Hotel great location , plenty of pools , sun beds & bars , staff fantastic , food poor , drinks poor , at best Hotel 4 star , room 3 star , food 2 star & drinks 2 star. Would I return No , would I recommend this hotel No. this is defiantly not a 5 star resort , in our 10 night stay we stayed at the hotel 2 nights 1st night and 1 night when we were tied , we were fortunate to be able to eat out most nights & pay for taxis and buses to get us to the resorts close by

  Poor hotel

  Poor hotel. Almost all staff speak only German. Respect for a few trying speak english :) Lady from mini club only deals with German-speaking children because she not speack in english. I did not find any information about the dominant German language when choosing this hotel. food quite delicious, day snacks only sandwiches, lasted warm food such as chips or nuggets. The rooms were clean, but last night we saw obscure beetles in the bath. And many cats is in restaurants, bars... On child waterslides and playground my child have it fun.

  4 STAR NOT 5STAR

  Upon arrival our room was not as expected. it had some issues . having brought these matters to the attention of the customer service manager on several occasions . we were moved to a better room which was very nice. the facilities are ok. the staff all work very hard and are very pleasant. The food is good a lot of variety although the a al carte food was not to our liking. the bar staff always knew what we were going to order. the beach bar is lovely. the entertainment was not always to our liking but we all have our own tastes. The hotel is orientated to other nationalities. lots of minor faults that need dealing with around the hotel. i.e. broken bathplugs, blocked drains, and damage electrical covers and loose sockets and parts that could be easly repaired. but it was towards the end of season. so it could be ware and tear of the season. the rooms need soundproofing noise issues in both rooms even though the people are not being loud. it would be nice if they stopped people reserving sun beds all day when not is use. the customer service manager reception staff and all the other staff are pleasant and helpfull.

  Blessing in disguise

  Just having escaped the rainy UK the very last minute due to Covid 19, arriving at Costa Lindia Beach was most definitely 'a breath of fresh air' + most definitely a grrrreat adventure! A fascinating resort, yummy food, the different pools, stunning animation and the location straight at the beach - a dream come true! But the very very best, of course, was the absolute amaaaazing + super-friendly MULTI TASKING staff! \o/ my favourites in general were: Breakfast in the sun, Lunch at the Italian restaurant and the yummy ice cafees - these were a DAILY MUST! THANK YOU, THE PRECIOUS HOTEL TEAM <3 YOU all rock!!!
