  Well recommended

  Stayed for part of a cycling holiday. Secure storage across lane at back for probably upto 8-10 bikes. All staff very welcoming and helpful. Room good and despite being centrally located very quiet at night. Sauna on top floor with lovely mountain view - just ask and they turn it in for you. Indoor and outdoor seating for dinner. It is advertised as pizzeria and a la carte but you can sit anywhere and have anything which is great . Dinner good as was breakfast with staff checking we had all we needed and items restocked as required. Would return if in the area

  Great place to stay

  I stayed in this 4-storeyed hotel for one night as part of a photography tour group but it was a pity that we checked in at night and out right after breakfast and a quick walk to the street corner's roundabout. The hotel building appears to have quite a history but is well preserved with good internal decor all over. We had a full Italian dinner in the basement which was a well served dinner with authentic salad, starter, main course and delicious dessert. I do not have special liking for Italian pasta but I must admit that the dinner was more than satisfying for most of us and we could feel the local hospitality from the concierge desk lady who walked down to ensure the group was well served and finally thank every of us when the dinner was over. The breakfast of the following morning is the best breakfast I have ever had all over the world in terms of the variety of food from jam, bread, cakes, biscuits, cold cuts, fruits, juices, tea and coffee to cheese. It was served on the ground level in a very cozy eatery with wooden furniture and decor. The lady who served us with fresh boiled eggs was cheerful and reminded some of us the location of certain items lest we would miss out any of the food choices available. This hotel is conveniently located in the local high street with boutiques across the road and shops all over the street. There is a small church located at the far corner of the street where there is a roundabout with a large colourful bird made with plants. The room I had has a double bed, a good-sized desk, 2 chairs and a wooden furniture for easy packaging and unpacking of baggage items. It was very clean, well maintained and not small. The washroom does not contain a bath but it is of the right size with well and safely positioned fixtures for all quests. One minor issue was that the windows were not sound-proofed enough for noises from the street, though overall I am very happy with the one-night experience with this local hotel.

  The best buffet breakfast!

  Lovely hotel, perfect location right in the centre of town. All very clean and very well maintained, our room was lovely. The breakfast was amazing, beautifully laid out with many, many choices, all absolutely delicious and fresh. The lady looking after everyone for breakfast clearly took great pride in what she did and what was offered to the hotel guests. A big thank you to her. We also ate in the restaurant one night, just pizza, which was baked on a wood fire oven and was excellent. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this lovely town.

  Exceptional Service

  Like many of the other reviewers of Hotel Corso, we were on a cycling holiday and unfortunately only got to stay for one night. Our room was more than adequate; larger than average with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The location is fantastic with many shops, cafes and restaurants surrounding the hotel. But what really shone was the service. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and willingly provided language translation assistance when we were dealing a personal issue. And then theres breakfast! A buffet with a huge variety of delicious breads, cereals, cold meats, cheeses etc, really good coffee all provided by genuinely lovely staff. I cant recommend Hotel Corso highly enough and would love to go back and use it as a base to explore more of this beautiful part of the world.
