Perfect for a Ski holiday, Staff were exemplaryWe visited the Hotel Corona for new years eve and a few days this year for a skiing holiday. The hotel Corona is ideally located, a few minutes from the lifts (in the private shuttle) and opposite a ski hire shop where skis can be rented at a discounted rate of about 8 euros a day. The facilities are very very good, with lovely rooms , a ski store room , a boot room with heated rack and games room, along with a stylishly decorated restaurant and welcoming bar and fireplace. The staff went far above and beyond to make our stay special. Other than being relentlessly attentive and helpful they also moved our bags to a vacant room so we could shower before we left for our flight on the final day. On top of this the drinks that we bought during our stay were on the house! We were thoroughly impressed and had a wonderfuly stay at the hotel Corona . We would recommend it a thousand times over to anyone whp wisely chooses this region for a holiday. Thank you Hotel Corona!!

Lovely little hotel with excellent serviceLittle mountain hotel just 1 km away from the Zoldo ski slopes. A helpful shuttle service drives guests to and from the pistes so you do not need to move your car during your stay. Food in the hotel was above my expectations (breakfast, except coffee, was really good). Zoldo is a very quiet village with not much nightlife, but it is a really good place to make the most of the mountains for skiing/hiking. The only but significant disappointment was with the room allocation: I was not really able to choose type of room at booking, and I was given one of the few rooms without any views. Moreover, I asked at checkin to confirm the room was quiet and they said yes, but well it was not: the room was on the first floor and you could hear the kids entertainment going on downstairs (luckily, it was stopping at around 10 pm). Apart from the disappointing room allocation, we had an overall nice stay. Make sure you know exactly what room you are booking!

Stayed there for one week with a British School on their Ski CourseMy first time in the ski resort of Civetta, I was the resort representative for a Company who specialise in sending groups of school children out to Italy for their half term ski course. I have done many of these trips for 10 years normally to Sestriere this was my first experience of the resort of Civetta in the Dolomites. I stayed in three hotels while there for a total of 18 days and 7 of these were spent in the Corona. All of the staff were very polite and helpful, the Management of Adrian & Daniela were extremely helpful, professional and although very busy always found time to deal with my many queries. The food was excellent and the ambiance was excellent as well. The hotel is very comfortable with good facilities and the mini bus to take you up the gondola driven by Edzo who was the evening DJ as well and very good. I would stay there again as it is very well run and I can't praise the staff enough.

SkiingI came to this hotel for a week. All the food served to me each night was bland and boring. For two nights in a row I was served the same sauce on two different meats which tasted horrible. The room was very bad. I came in when I arrived and opened the curtains carefully and the curtains fell of a cheap looking plastic curtain runner. The lights are also hung from the ceiling by ropes and look like they are second away from falling off. The bed however was fine but perhaps a lack of pillows the also bad and the shower being the most dissappointing. The pressure of the water is very low and very confusing. All I want to do after a day of skiing is to have a shower and the hotel does not provide me with a gd enough shower. And as a last do NOT lose your key as it is a 100 euro fine which is just so the hotel can make profit when really it only costs about 20 euro to replace the key

Oh dear! This hotel feels like it has not had any attention lavished on it for decades. Very shoddy rooms, many non-functioning parts (from windows which do not close to locks which do not work and a dribble for a shower, let alone the very cold rooms given the lack of proper heating). Breakfast is a sad affair and has nothing to recommend it. All drinks from machines and the same stale cereals recycled daily, plus fully processed cheeses and meats of true low quality. An excuse for a fruit selection in meagre quantities. A real shame and sad that this total lack of quality exists. A three start hotel need not be like this. Do find somewhere else to stat!
