  Unas vacaciones agradables

  Nosotros programamos otra estancia en septiembre en este hotel estilo B&B, habiendo pasado una semana allí durante nuestro b de un vieje de cuatro semanas por el sur de inglaterra en el 2005. Disfrutamos de una estupenda travesía en el moderno ferry y un corto paseo en coche a Ventnor/Bonchurch. Cornerways resultó ser una sorpresa muy agradble - limpio, una excelente vista al mar, unos cálidos anfitriones, desde arreglarte el plo hasta visitar la librería local (para usar su Internet) y visitando la casa de verano de la reina Victoria. Los desayunos en Cornerways son unos riquísimos caseros y estilo inglés y los restaurantes locales son cómodos y clásicos.

  We will return

  Cornerways is a delightful B&B in Ventnor bordering onto picturesque Bonchurch. It is a large house and despite being full, you never felt that was the case and we rarely saw other guests, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Stuart and Linda's open, friendly manner soon make you feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. I was delighted with the strict Covid 19 measure and practices in place to keep everyone safe with sanitizer bottles in public areas and the need to wear a mask when walking through the house. Our room was spacious, modern with a sunny view of the sea which was delightful as you opened the curtains in the mornings. The bed mattress, duvet and linen were of excellent quality and made for a very comfortable night's sleep. Another review said it was like sleeping on a cloud, and I agree. We had a very spacious bathroom with a large shower cubicle and a shower with a decent pressure; which ticks my boxes. Breakfast was delivered each morning as "room service", in a wicker hamper. The attention to detail in its presentation using paper bags for the bakery items and cereals, glass bottles of milk, thermos of coffee and Bonne Maman miniature preserves was delightful and we looked forward to it every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our five nights 'staycation' and would highly recommend it to other guests, friends and family. It was a great stay and we will return.

  Fab Stay

  My partner and I visited for a long weekend, we were welcomed by Stuart and made to feel extremely comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean, we had a lovely breakfast hamper delivered to our room which was a lovely touch in these unprecedented circumstances. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend.

  lovely visit

  I stayed in a lovely room with sea view when I visited the Island for work. Cornerways has a lovely setting and Stuart and Linda are helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming hosts. This was my first stay in a B and B/hotel since COVID and I was a little nervous. I need not have worried I felt safe and comfortable and the room was spotless. The continental hamper was a great breakfast idea and suited me better than a cooked breakfast. They have adapted really well to Covid without losing the character of the place. I will be returning with my partner for a non working break

  A perfect place to celebrate our anniversary

  Cornerways was in a quiet location, and was itself quiet with a pleasant host who greeted us and said goodbye at checkout, and otherwise took care not to intrude in the interests of health and safety. Our room was warm and comfortable with a view of the sea. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom spacious and a lovely shower. The television had terrestrial channels plus Netflix and catch-up options. The hotel was within 10-15 minutes walking distance of the town centre, though because of bad weather we chose to drive in.
