  Okay but not living up to Cordial standards

  The location of the hotel is great. Nice & quite, close to the lake and town, beautiful views. The rooms have seen better days though. The bathroom especially hasn't had an update for decades it seems. The interior of the rooms is traditional but the furniture is clunky and makes the rooms feel smaller and dark. Breakfast was fairly disappointing. Again the view from the winter garden was stunning but 15 is not justified at all. Staff was nice and very helpful with great input on local hikes.

  Nice hotel with good facilities

  Room: Fine for a couple of days stay. But quite a small social room especially with sofa bed out. Kitchen equipment limited, no kettle. Nice balcony And views over The snowy mountains. Washing up liquid provided!! Ample soap And shower gel. Slightly noise from road if windows are open. Wifi worked on android device but not iPhone. Facilities: Pool And whirlpool were a great hit with my kids. Wonderful view from The whirlpool. Sauna was nice also. Shower with soap next To sauna. It was never busy when we were there, but pool is quite small. Free use of bathrobes And pool towels. Ample comfy loungers!! Restaurant: We didnt find The food here as nice as in other places we ate in Austria. Convenient as we were staying in The restaurant building, but expensive for quality. Also confusing menu, part buffet, part not-? Local area: It was very quiet especially as ski season had Just ended. Limited restaurants And bars, but we found a couple of nice places To eat nearby. Big Supermarket And bakery 5min away. Lake Achensee was beautiful!! We were given a guest card, but The train And boats werent open until end of April .

  Fantastic stay for families

  We were here for a week during silvester period. We had a very nice family apartment which was cleaned every day (fresh towels etc). The personnel is very friendly and especially to the kids (our kids loved it). Please make use of the half board option. The buffet is fantastic! So, if youre looking for a good place to stay with your kids this is the place to be.

  Highly recommended for families

  Really friendly hotel with a great restaurant and superb staff. Clean and comfortable with a 2 bedroom studio room with a kitchenette and 2 toilets, really perfect for families. Super staff especially Martin in the restaurant who couldnt be more helpful. Breakfast and evening food varied and of high quality. Well located about 500m from ski lifts and will be back maybe for a summer trekking break also.

  Fantastic family holiday

  Had an amazing time in this lovely place. Location was fantastic. The chalet was cosy and convenient. Gardens were beautifully kept. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Loved the cats, so cute and friendly. Kids enjoyed the pool. Only 10 minutes walk to the lake at Achenkirch. Would go back!
