  Good rooms at reasonable rate

  We had visited Pondicherry on a weekend and had stayed in this hotel. It was a good hotel in a very good location with railway station,bus terminal ,beaches ,restaurants at the vicinity. We wereprovided a nice and clean AC room which was spacious as well.The bathrooms were nice.We even had a small refrigerator in our rooms. Overall for a weekend tour its nice. (But one thing to keep in mind that rooms don't have any window) .

  Horrible

  In the month of Jan 2019, I along with two of my friends stayed hotel corbelli. First of all it is not good and safe for family and ladies and second thing it is dirty, damp and stinky. We planned to stay there for 6 days but we next day only we vacated it.

  Filthy, smelly. Very unpleasant- please avoid!

  Stayed in room 303-my friend in 306 which had cockroaches and when we asked staff to spray them he sprayed with toilet air freshener. In summary room 303- No loo roll was provided but they did bring a filthy old roll when I asked which I did not use Didnt clean room each day Very Smelly bathroom with open drains filthy door and tiles and water gun by toilet black with mould Fridge doesnt work and none of them do, they told us fridge is warm but they cannot fix them. Room 306 fridge was warm too. Toilet doesnt refill you have to lift lid and adjust ballcock to get it to refill No wifi in rooms only at reception but there is a code for each floor but it dies not reach rooms No bottle water provided in room but they sell it Tv is good Storage is good A/c is quiet and good Room was very noisy at night with pots and pans and sounds of cooking next door and shouting staff at 11.30pm I could hear people next door from my bathroom like they are in the room Hotel staff actually recommended we do not eat here so we did not Horrible Swimming pool was empty with no water in January Refuse to accept international credit cards and finally told us they had sorted us paying by credit so they asked us to return at 10am and walked us down the road to a cash shop who took charged my credit card for cash and added 2% then the hotel asked us to pay cash. This place ruined our trip, it was stressful arguing with them about not taking credit and the bathroom was filthy so I dreaded needing a shower or to use the smelly bathroom.   budget hotel in heart of the city

  reasonable rate, located in white town. friendly approach. cite seeing places are very near by. good to stay with family. have swimming pool in top floor, Italian restaurant too. bar in basement with separate way. beauty spa.

  Rooms not maintained well, Hotel feels dingy, Good location

  What was fine - The room was well sized. It had a refrigerator, Bathroom was ok. 24 hr hot water due to geyser. The bed was good. Sheets were clean. 2 snack items that we ordered were fine in taste. The location is very central. You can easily get ricks to go sightseeing. Lots of shops around. Lots of eateries close by. What we did not like - no tea-coffee supplies. No windows in the room. Felt stuffy. The geyser is above the bathroom. so the ceiling has developed mould and does not look appealing. There was strong phenyl smell in the room. Only 2 bedside lamps were working. The 2 ceiling lamps were not working. We called them to check it and fix. They said they would return with a bulb. But nobody came back. While it was ok with the 2 bedside lamps, a 3rd ceiling lamp would have made it much better. The room service for 2 snack items that we ordered in the evening came late after almost an hour of ordering. The room service did not pick up the phone for dinner. So we went out and had dinner. The restaurant on the top floor seem to be advertised more as a bar and with the dingy feel of the hotel, did not feel like going to try it out. Breakfast is not ready even at 8:30. The breakfast was served in their bar & restaurant. It was cold & not fresh. I think it functions more as a bar than a restaurant. Hence this late start. I would not recommend families or couples to stay here. While the basic bed and bath was fine, the other amenities were not up to mark and we did not feel comfortable there. The receptionist and the cleaning ladies were courteous, but they need to be trained for a higher standard.
