  Health hazard

  We got the room specifically for the pool since was my daughter's 16th bday and wanted her to be able to swim. The pool is a true Heath hazard and we were never informed of the gross situation. My husband refused to complain because it's not like him but Wtf. Breakfast was inedible with all fake food i.e. powdered "eggs", everything just tasted off. Fridge froze everything and bring ear plugs or not gonna be able to sleep from loud bang the pool table makes when drops balls and any voices in pool area really travel. The place is falling apart.

  Garbage since Oyo buy-out

  The hotel itself wasn't terrible, except for the heat/AC unit with no front cover that was plugged into an extension cord, the tv remote that didn't work (and the only way we could get a working one was to switch rooms), the water in the shower that wouldn't stay hot, and the window that you could open from the outside. But the company that owns this hotel now is refusing to refund my money for an early check-out after being told it would be refunded 3 weeks ago. I was told at the front desk that if I needed to check out early to let them know a couple days in advance and it would be refunded. After numerous calls to the hotel and to the company that owns it, I am being told they are keeping the money as a cancelation fee.

  It's the Chief Motel again

  I stayed at this hotel in mid-September 2020. The staff members were friendly, the hotel was mostly clean, and the breakfast was okay. There was a small amount of dried toothpaste on the counter, so that is why I say it was mostly clean. The pool looked okay; the hot tub was still roped off with caution tape. For the price, it was pretty good. I would stay there again if for some reason I end up in this one horse town.

  Life sucks

  The clerk staff was awesome. From there the nightmare began. I didn't have a phone in my room that worked,the sink in my room didn't work, the icemaker didn't work and when I told the staff and owners nothing was done. I was supposed to get a wakeup call and a ride to the train station and the staff told my husband I was on the train they lied and billed my credit card for another night. Total cluster F

  Dirty room

  I got my brother and his family a room. It was on the main level across from the pool. When we walked in the room it was 80 degrees and very small. Later that night, my brother and his family arrived and went to their room. When they opened the door, the set their bags on the floor and turned on the light and a cockroach crawled across the pillows on the bed. When they pulled the sheets back, there was mouse feces and hair of all kinds on the sheets. My brother went to tell them that he would be checking out and they asked if he wanted another room. He told them no that he wanted his money back. They then told him that he would have to go through whoever he booked the room with. So he called me and I went through expedia.com (I don't advise this either, a total rip-off!!) to get my money back. Conveniently, they had told me that my cancellation window had expired and that they could only give me half my money back. This is the second time I have had a problem with this hotel and the last because I will never go there again and will be telling everyone I know not to go there.
