  Beautiful setting for this hotel

  I had booked a triple room, so I was very pleased that we were given two rooms, with one bathroom in the middle. There was plenty of space for the three of us. We were on the 5th floor and for some reason the lift only goes as far as the 4th floor. There was a path from the hotel to the beach, and unfortunately, maybe because it had rained, we were bitten by mosquitoes. We struggled to find places for dinner. The first evening we walked to the beach and were told that the empty restaurant was fully booked. We walked further along and found a reasonable restaurant, but we were bitten, even though they had smoke coils. The next evening we ate on the main road, which was awful. The last evening we ate at the hotel, which was nice, but too much of a blow-out to do everyday. The swimming pool was covered in pine needles. We were told that they had assumed no one would want to use it, as it wasn't sunny. We raked it ourselves, and the following day, when the sun came out it was cleaned. They advertise beach/pool towels, but only offer towels for use at the pool. The beach was nice, and it had wonderful sand.

  Peaceful holiday

  We can definitely recommend this hotel! The whole experience here was awesome and all the more that the 7 days stay here was for a very reasonable price in comparison with the class and services of the hotel. This hotel as a whole is very pro-clients orientated and situated in a nice area just near the natural park and approximately 5 minutes of walk to a beach. The only disadvantage is that the Italian staff is not fluent in English, but you can always get what you need. ROOMS The rooms are not too big for a 4star hotel. It is visible that this hotel stays there some years. Nevertheless, every equipment is always clean, nice and working. The only thing that seemed us was that the air-condition was not too strong. But when the temperatures do not go over 30 degrees it is absolutely enough. Just the bathroom might be bigger. On the other hand, there was everything that is necessary including bidet. An empty fridge without any unnecessary and overpriced drinks (unlike most of 4 stars hotels) was another advantage of the room. We could put whatever we needed into it and then take it on the beach. MEALS This hotel keeps a high standard of meals. Every morning the waiters ask you for your order of tea and coffee and bring it to your table. All these repeatedly. The juices available at the breakfast are true juices, not lemonades with waters as in some hotels. The bakery is always fresh and there was variety of it. Just the sausages and more types of ham/salami could be nice for people from the middle of the Europe. If the breakfasts were very good the dinners were fantastic. It was not like the all-inclusive buffets, but it met high criteria for a very good restaurant. All the time there were three waiters with bows and suits. There was a starter buffet every evening. After that a visitor might choose form four options of first meals (including soup and pasta dishes) and from four options of the second meals (such as a variety of fishes, schnitzels, hamburger, grilled meal etc.). There is a different menu each day. At the end there were desserts that you could choose from the table. Two types of cheese were freely available during the dinner each day. The price of dinner includes a bottle of wine and water each day. Every meal in the restaurant was unique and of the highest quality, delicious and you will always go out more than satisfied and absolutely full. Simply this hotel has an excellent cook and waiters! STUFF The stuff of the hotel is extremely friendly, and helpful. We have to commend receptionist Monika who was always nice, helpful, with a friendly attitude and personal interest in guests and their stay even recommending where and how to go and what to see. Although we are fluent in English we think that it is definitely an advantage for a hotel to have someone being able to speak Slovak/Czech language as Monika is. In the restaurant we especially appreciated Cladio who tried his best to talk with us in English. All stuff works hard and surely improves the hotel as a whole. ENVIROMENT AND HOTEL GENERALLY The hotel is situated in a very nice, clean and calm environment. The private sunbeds are another advantage of this hotel. It is true that this hotel would not satisfy those searching boutique hotels with the most modern design. However, if you find a clean, peaceful place with nice people for a vacation of high standards which is not overcrowded this is definitely the best place! You will find a fantastic relax there. A nice beach with pure and very clean water full of fishes and life will be just the crown of all nice experience you might find here. Personally, I hope to surely come here again and absolutely recommend it especially with regard for a very good price/quality ratio. Michael kurka

  Tranquilo y bien ubicado

  Elegimos esta opción para tener la playa cerca y poder hacer excursiones a Ravenna, Bolonia etc. Ha sido una gran decisión. La playa estupenda y el hotel igualmente. Tranquilo, muy bien cuidado, personal muy atento, estupenda cena y buen desayuno. Hemos tenido una estancia muy agradable y el sitio es más que recomendable.

  Great choice and witching short walk to the beach

  I have family in the region but because I opted not to rent a car it would have taken me quite a long bus ride to and from the beach everyday so I opted to stay in a hotel my last week in Italy. I chose Hotel Corallo for its price and reviews. Yes the rooms are small but that is a European norm. Everything is just smaller than in the U.S. for those traveling from the U.S., know that a 4 star in Italy translates to about a 3 star in the U.S. that is not to knock Hotel Corallo at all but to curb anyones fantastical expectations. The room has AC which I have been missing since being in Italy and the staff are super friendly. The hotel including my room is very neat and clean and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Lastly, I havent had mojito as good as the one from the hotel bar since the last time I was in Italy and even then I think this one was actually better. Summary: very good hotel all the way around!

  Loved our Stay

  We were travelling with a group of 57 and sadly had only one night here but we took full advantage. After more than a week on the road touring in the heat, opportunities to swim were very attractive. Most of the tour went into Ravenna to see the mosaics which were apparently excellent. I opted for a walk to the beach and a dip in the hotel pool. There is a lifeguard and they let you know when going off duty. There are lots of thick towels and many lounge chairs to relax in. I could not find a change room so wore my suit under my clothes. The beach is about a ten minute walk. The water is calm and shallow and it is very easy to get in. I chose to swim early in the morning around 6:30 to avoid the heat. Wonderful! The breakfast buffet at the hotel is plentiful, varied and of good quality. They bring your coffee/tea to your table. Very good! One oddity was the dining room. It seems a bit formal and menu had no prices. Dress code? Some of our party were turned away and told it was full but it did not seem to be full. We chose a casual seafood place on the beach and were very pleased. It is just past the bouncy castles etc. (This is a very family oriented resort.)Turn right when you get to the beach. Service was fast. Food was yummy. A place like this in North America would tend to be low quality but this is Italy!
