    Beautiful home!!

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights for just a getaway. It was a wonderful stay! We stayed in the Carriage House. There was plenty of coffee available in our room, complementary water, and a small fridge. The bed was very comfortable. All little touches were noticed and appreciated like the fresh flowers as well as more than enough toiletries. And, of course, the breakfasts were fabulous!! Homemade, hot, delicious, and filling!!! My favorite part was breakfast! Theressa is a gifted chef!! While not attached to the main house, the house/kitchen were always at our disposal. The main house is an historical charm!! The owners and hosts, Theressa and Derick were so friendly and welcoming. They loved sharing their stories as well as their home. Theyve owned the Inn since October 2019 so please note that nearly all of the unsatisfactory reviews listed here were not under their ownership. Theressa was extremely helpful to us in rescheduling our stay due to an approaching hurricane. We could not have found a more lovely or accommodating place to stay. We will define coming back to this one!! Lynn & Belinda Simon Louisiana

    Gem of Galveston

This is such a wonderful find in Galveston. This B&B is an excellent historic home. The owners are working on renovating the home. The updates are beautiful. The breakfast that is served each morning is delicious! Extremely filling and hard to stop eating. Theressa and Derick have thought of everything needed for the stay. We even had handcrafted soaps in the bathroom!! They are extremely friendly and sweet. We loved the cottage house and the ability to bring our dog. They also allowed our 5 year old to join us. We enjoyed the easy access to the beach, the strand, restaurants and also the local neighborhood park. The houses in the area are equally as beautiful! We will definitely be back the next time we visit Galveston.

Birthday Weekend at the Coppersmith B&B

I travel a lot, and along with it, the corporate hotel experience. I had a big birthday and my wife booked us at the Coopersmith instead of the standard Marriot. What a great experience. Galveston has such an intriguing and interesting past. So instead of staying at a corporate establishment, we stayed in a beautiful circa 1880 Victorian home in a nice part of Galveston on a tree lined street. Much better experience by far. You could not ask for more hospitable hosts. Teresa must of known it was my birthday from my wife and had a slide of really nice chocolate cake from a local bakery. However we also had delicious home baked cookies in our room, as well as a great breakfast the next day. We end up in close to an hour long conversation at the breakfast table. What an interesting, enjoyable stay. I highly recommend the hosts and their beautiful establishment.

Super comfy, wish Id been able to stay longer!

House and its owners were super charming. We were warmly welcomed, given a brief history & shown to our lovely suite - even though we arrived a little late. Delicious breakfast- cant wait for martini pool!

    Birthday weekend

Ever been inside someone's home and feel like you are home? We travel a lot and usually stay in hotels so staying in a B&B as a new experience and one we will do more often after staying in Coopersmith's. Going to be hard to find another warm, cozy, friendly home that has opened up to wayward travelers. In facy, going back in April to have a cooking lesson with Theressa's Mother on how to mane lupia and I can't wait! We were treated like family and didn't really want to leave but reality called and so did our animal sitter at home . Thank you Theresa and Derrick for letting us share your beloved home and rslcecially letting us sleep with Miss Fancy Pants
