  Disgusting

  Tried to book on booking.com for a few nights over the weekend. Unfortunately my card declined twice as I had made an error so I recieved an email from booking.com to say if i changed the card details the Copperfield house would review and get in contact. I dutifully changed my card details and recieved an email from Copperfield stating the booking was cancelled and no monies would be taken. The money WAS taken.. I rung the b n b and explained the situation I was spoken to by a gentleman who was so very rude with no respect at all and blatantly told me he had took the money and that was that. Basically they have stolen my money I have sent the emails to them but have basically been told there is no way they will give me it back. Disgusting attitude!

  Definitely 2star!

  We arrived at 11am, knocked on door Lesley answered said room was ready, so gave us free parking permit. Then showed us to our room, told us breakfast time & walked off! Although it was a budget double, the room was tiny with 2 chairs which were in way & really no use. The decor was slap dash & not done to a very high standard. TV was tiny with wires hanging from it to sockets. The bed was hard & when opened bathroom door it hit bed. The bathroom was also tiny & smelt of damp. The window was open slightly but wouldn't open fully, the window sill was dirty. Free toiletries consist of a small shower gel & shampoo. If you're on the large size then shower would be tight fit!! The towels well they were big enough for a toddler! The shelf in bedroom was thick with dust along with light fitting. The bed frame was metal which was covered in thick dust too. I went for breakfast on my own 1st morning, didnt feel like Lesley wanted to hold conversation I was told what the full english consisted of( 3 small sausage, 2 bacon,mushrooms, beans,Tom's,1 hash brown, fried egg) & to help myself to cereals & juice. There was only orange juice. About 6 cereals. No fruit,yogurts. Toast was do it yourself. There were few jams, cheap sauces on table. The tea cups were stained inside. There were a collection of old dolls in breakfast room which were freaky!! Propped up against a glass cabinet was a very large unopened box with a glass bifold door inside good job no kids in b n b. As a female couple we felt uncomfortable that both Vernon & Lesley didnt seem to want to talk or make a conversation. We were spoken to if we spoke 1st! Good points, free parking permit. Tea coffee hot choc free. Fridge in room. Close to amenities.

  2 night stay 2 rooms

  Guest house is clean and rooms were clean and stocked with full amenities. Lesley gave us parking vouchers which were great. Breakfast was lovely we have had a lovely couple of days with our family. Would definitely book again.

  Perfect weekend away, we will be back.

  Great value for money. The hosts were lovely. Very good social distancing, at breakfast the host wore a face shield and gelled hands regularly, tables were well spaced apart. Room was great, really comfy beds, fridge, plenty of tea and coffee and hot chocolate also biscuits. Good WiFi, free parking permit. Breakfast was lovely, full English and plentiful. Great position only a minutes walk to the beach and prominade and main attractions, yet lovely and quiet. Our first visit and we will return.

  Rubbish

  Awful experience, stayed one night out of four, was still charged for the full stay. Did not wait for breakfast could not get out quick enough ..Parking was find your own in an area that was absolutely packed with other vehicles. Ghastly coloured bedroom, very hot
