  Muy buen hotel

  Hotel con parquin en la parte exterior de la amurallada Torun. Grande y con piscina, todas las habitaciones tienen terraza a ella, pero són silenciosas. A cinco minutos andando de centro histórico. Genial!

  Hotel muy cerca del centro, con parking de pago. La pega es que no puedes hacer el check in antes de las 16:00 hr. La habitación era muy grande y comoda y decir, también, que ya que ponen las camas grandes (cosa que es de agradecer) podían cambiar también los nórdicos ya que resultan pequeños para la cama y si te tapas de arriba los pies quedan al descubierto. En todos los hoteles que hemos visitado en nuestra estancia en Polonia nos ha pasado lo mismo, debe de ser moda!! No tuvimos tiempo de disfrutar de la piscina pero había muchas familias con niños. El desayuno igual de malo que los demás hoteles de Polonia. En todos tienen lo mismo, al pan no hay quien le hinque el diente. Pienso que les falta imaginación porque materia prima tienen

  Excellent Hotel With Great Breakfast Offerings!

  This is a first class hotel with nice size rooms, well maintained and a very good dining facility. Reception area was quick and responsive to check in and out. Breakfast was a buffet setting with many options to please the palate. Highly recommend!

  Not 4* standards. Noise issues

  I stayed here for 4 nights in August with my partner. The purpose of our trip was to visit family. I'm British whilst my partner is Polish and originates from Torun, so was familiar with the hotel. I was impressed by the entrance of the hotel, which is very modern and well maintained. We were checked in quickly but were not given a lot of the basic information we required, such as breakfast times, info on facilities etc. The room was large and spacious however is not as modern as the public areas of the hotel. When I booked this hotel I was aware that there was a nightclub there, which I find odd, however it is only open at the weekends and we were staying from Sunday to Thursday so noise shouldn't have been an issue. I mention this as other reviews spoke about noise issues from the nightclub as well as from lifts, heating and air con etc. We unfortunately did experience significant noise issues during our stay, which affected the overall experience for us and was made worse by the unprofessional manner of the reception staff. On day 3, we were aware that a convention was taking place at the hotel, which then became fully booked. That night, we noticed an event being set up within an outdoor building, which was right next to our room. The building was clearly not sound-proofed, which we realised during all the sound checks taking place. Furthermore, all of the windows were open due to the warm weather, making it even noisier as the sound travelled. Throughout the night, there was a very loud disco, lots of drunk people milling around outside and microphone announcements. I was unable to sleep and called reception at 12.30am, only to be told that it was booked until 2am. Not even an apology was offered. I advised that I would be making a complaint in the morning. The next morning, after only a couple hours of sleep, we went down to reception. Before I even spoke, the lady behind the desk immediately started speaking to my partner in Polish and completely ignored me. Up until this point, i had been able to speak English to all staff at the hotel that I had encountered, including this particular female. I questioned why she was not speaking to me in English and she continued to converse with my partner only, who then had to translate for me. I found this whole experience degrading, rude, disrespectful and verging on being racist. When I declined her offer of a discounted night stay, a colleague joined her, and also ignored me, speaking only to my partner. At this point I asked to speak to the Manager. After 15 minutes, he appeared and offered us a free night stay. He apologised for the noise and claimed that it was the first time the outdoor building had been used for an event, which I find hard to believe. We were moved rooms and had a quiet final evening. This hotel is thought to be the best by many in Torun however I think that this is based on a historical reputation and I do not think that the cost per evening was justified when there are equally nice hotels that are far cheaper. For those that aren't Polish speakers, be aware that you will encounter rude staff who suddenly lose their ability to speak English when you have a problem. This is not acceptable in any hotel and certainly not one who advertises itself as being multi-lingual. We will not return here when we visit Torun again.

  A pleasant stay

  We came only for a weekend. The hotel is nicely located overviewing the Vistula river on one side and a park on the other, a few steps to the Old Town. We enjoyed the pool, the surrounding area and delicious breakfast. We'll definitely be back soon.
