  Grim room - checked out early as a result

  Avoid at all costs! Our advertised 'Superior' apartment was totally the opposite! Dank, grimy, tired and tatty - rusting fittings galore, light fitting rusty and dusty and mouldy DVD! Not able to relax at all in the environment that made you shudder! Desperate need for total renovations. Managers justification that if you book direct you get a better room doesn't cut it! When charged the same, should be able to expect advertised standards, otherwise is total misrepresentation and false advertising, totally dissatisfied with response and service.

  Needs attention

  Stayed there last weekend and totally disappointed. We stayed in the 90s and I dont think the furniture has been replaced since. Was going to entertain guests but too embarrassed to have them over so went out for meals

  Memorable Weekend

  My family stayed for two nights in a two-bedroom apartment. It fell on a holiday weekend for my grandchildren so they had a lot of fun in the swimming pool and the beautiful beach in Coolum. This holiday apartment meets our minimum requirements, it was well kept and clean. It was well stocked with kitchenware. The beds and beddings were all clean and fresh - no worries on the cleanliness of the apartment. Parking was safe too. My family just walked around ; mornings we walked towards the beach and enjoyed the cool waters. We highly recommend this place because it is clean, efficiently managed, and strategically located.

  Great location, even better service.

  We were unlucky enough to get stuck in QLD in January 2021 when our home state closed the borders due to the covid outbreak in Brisbane. Luckily we managed to book a 2bedroom apartment at Coolum Caprice at the very last minute. The apartment was great, the location is right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. We initially booked for 7 nights but checked out after only 3 when borders opened again. We spoke to the lovely reception staff about a possible refund for the unused nights, not expecting any refund. We were told that if they could book the room for the nights we didn't use they would refund us the unused portion. A couple of weeks later we received an unexpected refund so thank you Coolum Caprice. Amazing service. As for Coolum Beach itself, it is such a laid back, quiet area of the sunshine coast. I can't wait to go back. And when we do go back, we'll be staying at Coolum Caprice.

  Holiday

  We stayed at Coolum Caprice, and over all had a wonderful stay. We have stayed at the Coolum Caprice many times because of location and views. My only complaint is the bedroom window is almost closed all the time, which means sleeping in a stuffy room, not so conducive for a good nights sleep. So my suggestion is close the window altogether and install air conditioners .
