  one word: Wonderful !

  We had an entire week at this superb Villa! It was perfect: the interior, pool, garden and all the amenities we could think of. The owner did an extraordinary job at making us feel welcome, and the chef made us a delicious breakfast every morning to start another sunny day. We loved it, and highly recommend this Villa to anyone seeking a sumptuous and luxurious holiday with every opportunity to explore Crete when you feel like it :-)

  Stunning villa in a tranquil location. The aroma of the lemon, orange and lime trees is intoxicating and will stay with you long after your visit! Situated in an ideal location to explore the west part of Crete. Despina is a very kind and gracious hostess who will see to all your needs. A truly memorable 5 days! You need to visit to fully appreciate all the reviews.

  Wonderful stay at Conte Marino Villas

  We stayed 6 days at Conte Marino Villas. The villa was superb: very elegant interior design and high end equipment / amenities. Despina is a great host - she contacted us before our stay and offered to pick us up at the airport and was available throughout our stay for local recommendations. We will definitely return.

  We have stayed in many Villas in Crete. Conte Marino offers the highest specification we have found. The service offered by the management team is of the highest level. Peaceful location with good access to Chania.

  Wonderful week at Villa Orangia

  We spent a wonderful week last week at Villa Orangia (one of the three villas at Conte Marino). We booked very last minute as our original holiday was cancelled due to quarantine restrictions. Despina was so helpful from the moment we booked, in contact in WhatsApp to immediately check details and get the villa ready for us with 24 hours notice. She also put the pool heating on for us. The villa is in a great location - 20 minutes or so from Chania and 40 mins from the airport. It was end of season so we didnt sample many of the local beach towns which were quiet but spent most of our evenings in Chania old town which was still bustling and very charming. The pool at the villa is lovely - around 15 metres and perfect for kids and also adults wanting to swim lengths. It Is set in a lovely garden surrounded by fruit trees and has a great outdoor patio with plenty of seating and sun loungers. The kids enjoyed picking the pomegranates in the garden. The villa itself is a wonderful design and very modern and well thought out with three ample sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. We were unfortunate to have three days of epic thunderstorms and rain but we still had a lovely time and made the most of the dry spells! Despina arranged a wonderful chef to come one evening to cook for us all. We also spent a couple of days at Fallasarno beach which is beautiful and around 40 minutes away. We also did a boat trip from Kissamos to Balos lagoon. Thank you for a wonderful week - a welcome change of scenery in these strange times!
