    Gross!

We stayed on Saturday night May 12th after a wedding. Their was no shower curtain in the room and dead flies all over the window sill. I told the lady at the front desk but she didn't really seem to care. I had never been there before. My opinion of the place is it generally run down. The carpet is worn and the wood outside of the window was also rotting. I would not recommend your stay at this place.

    Conleys resort

This place was horrible. We took our two granddaughters on what they call vacation (one night in a hotel), for them to have some fun. The hotel is a maze! No signs saying where your room might be. The water in the shower and faucette stinks to high heaven. The rooms smell aweful. And when the people in the room next to us played their tv on uber high all night we were told they could move us all i had to do was wake up my two sleeping granddaughters, and pack up, navigate the maze of hallways carrying two kids and luggage instead of them asking the offenders to turn down the tv!!! Oh and the rooms are 90.00 but if your kids want to swim, which is the only reason any sane person would go there, its an extra 15.00 per kid. Yes 30.00 for a four year old and 5 year old to swim in a chilly pool for a half hour. Never again!!!

    Some good...... some really bad.

The golf course is okay, typical resort course where "if" they have a course superintendent it's clear they know little about golf. The greens are healthy but far too soft, even in dry weather. Every footprint from previous two or three foursomes will effect the roll of the ball and the fact that they don't change pin positions every day is ludicrous . On the second day of the same pin position it's impossible to putt well. Tees in the same place for three days creates a mudpit to stand in to tee off. Hotel desk clerk was pleasant and professional, the manager (Stephanie) was plain and simply a spoiled little brat! They informed me that I had to have a room mate (from our outing) even though I booked a single occupancy room (DURING COVID-19). When I said I booked a single occupancy room the manager told me they were overbooked, I politely stated that "is not my problem". She became nasty and told me she would move me to another room but it would cause her problems, to which I said "that's the problem with overbooking". She then proceeded to tell me they were NOT overbooked. I asked which it was, first they were overbooked and then they weren't. She was getting nastier by the second as I walked out to my room. The facilities are very run down. The breakfast sandwiches which were part of the package arrived 30 minutes after we teed off. The people who helped with golf carts, etc. were extremely helpful and friendly! SUMMARY: They need a superintendent who knows something about golf, and they need to get rid of Stephanie.

    Annual golf trip

This experience was a mixture of good and so bad it was actually funny at times to watch it play out. Myself and 7 friends from various locations around Western Pa decided to hold our annual golf get together at this resort. Upon arrival we were greeted by the excellent staff at the combination hotel check in/pro shop. Directed to our rooms we found we were staying what I can only describe as 1950s efficiency cabin design. The biggest plus I can give to the room was that the a/c was excellent in combating the 90+ degree weather we were having. Both golf courses we played were in decent shape but had a declining maintenance feel to them. The bar/restaurant was nice, the staff friendly. Our dinner was were the funny bad hit. We were told multiple times to make sure we took advantage of the prime rib special the evening and a couple of us decided too. After placing our orders and waiting approximately 30 minutes we we informed that the had run out of the special and were offered Delmonico steaks in replacement. The conversation between the 8 of us and waitress was reminiscent of the soup nazi episodes of Sienfeld. After another extended wait I was brought a NY strip steak and offered a well done prime rib to take with me. All I could do was laugh and before you ask, after 30 years in the grocery business, I do know the difference. Anyone looking at this resort , the advertised pool/slide area was closed and drained.
