  Classrooms ok, but lunch was of poor quality

  The facilities around the course rooms were fine, but the lunch was of poor quality and did not seem very professionally arranged. Mug on bread. There were not the dishes that were advertised. Make it better now..and every day! On-site service was good enough

  A bit dated

  Disclaimer: I was staying here for business and have no experience with the spa facilities. They seem well equipped in that regard. I found the rooms a bit dated and the restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. They have a nice assortment of beers at the bar. There is a large parking space and the hotel is situated near the highway, easy to reach. I gather that the train station is also at walking distance (didn't check) Price was a bit high for my taste, but then again, I don't know which spa facilities are included in that price. I didn't use them.

  Average stay, not that family friendly

  Stayed here a few nights with family. Alright location and nice to be next to that beautiful golf course. The restaurant was probably the best part. Really good food served both at dinner and breakfast. Be aware that they serve a set menu though, not a la carte, so this was a bit limiting with children. Staff were very lovely and helpful though, and made extra child-friendly portions of potatoes and vegetables. The family room itself was an okay size but very tired-looking and run down. Not that clean. Found an old spider and crumbs on the floor when we checked in. Beds were horrible, to say the least. WAY too soft and uncomfortable to sleep in. You literally sink into them. Pillows and duvet also way too soft. My mother and father in law also had a hard time sleeping because of the beds. We all got sore backs and slept poorly. When we pre-booked our rooms we also pre-ordered two baby/toddler beds. On the phone we were assured that there would be bedding and duvets with each bed, which cost an additional 150 kr. a night. When we get there, they havent put the two toddler beds in our family room and staff tell us there is only one duvet available. This is super disappointing when we had pre-booked this and communicated our needs prior to our stay. The beds are clearly cheap travel beds which maybe cost 400 kr each, so I find it pretty amazing that you get charged 150 kr a night per bed... Much too expensive for the service we got. The mattress was also super soft and almost non existent, so I would almost recommend bringing your own travel bed for baby/toddler. Heating wasnt really working either (supposedly because the municipality closed off the heat as it is summer) but it was cold at night and our babies were colder and had to sleep on top of an adult duvet in the beds. We also found it a bit strange that there were no changing table options in the family room. We therefore didnt feel it was that family friendly. Just a bigger room. All in all, a pretty average stay. I probably wont be back. If youre in need of a good meal, though, then this place is good to stop by.

  A no smoking hotel that allows smoking anyway and small rooms with old stained carpets! Very bad hotel

  The Comwell hotel in Korsør small bad motel 6 type rooms but not at motel 6 room rates. I paid about 1150Dkr for each night on July 31 and August 1 for a room with breakfast for anightmare stay in a small room with a old carpet with a huge old at a huge old stain in it. I could see the hotel was busy when I checked in so I decided to accept the overpriced room with the old stained carpet. Things got worse then just the overpriced room rate. This hotel is promoted as a no smoking hotel but none of the hotel staff enforced the no smoking rule. My wife is allergic to cigarette smoke and one reason to pick this hotel was the no smoking rule. There are signs in the room and around the hotel that say no smoking but signs are not enough.The hotel staff shold tell people to stop smoking if they are smoking. On the night of August 1 some people were having a party under our hotel room window which was open because it was a warm summer night and there is no air conditioning. The party people standing under our window were smoking like crazy against the hotel rules and that smoke drifted up into our window which made my wife Ill so at 01.15 I called on the room phone to the front desk receptionist to ask her to tell those people to stop smoking. What did she do? Oh yes at 01.30 in the night she knocks on my hotell room door to ask us if we would move to another room. No sorry i did not want to or request to move rooms. I requested that she enforce the hotels no smoking rule and ask the people who were smoking right under our window to stop! Why should we be made into the problem when the problem was those people smoking understanding our window! I have complained to the hotel about our wrecked weekend because of the way overpriced room with the old carpet with the huge stain but worse was the unwillingness of the night receptionist to enforce the hotels no smoking rule. I was offered what the management at Comwell Hotel Korsør consider a compensation which is a coupon where I can book another stay at a Comwell Hotel for 698kr-898Dkr. How is a coupon to be able to book a stay at bit lower room rate fo

  Midrange hotel

  OK hotel very close to the freeway. We didnt notice any noise from it though. Our room was clean and comfortable with all we needed for the one night we stayed. The shower was very small but did the job. Great soap available and can be bought at the reception or Matas. Breakfast was as expected with a variety in the low end. Quality was good and refill was fast. The setup of the breakfast buffet made it very difficult to keep distance and some guests didnt use the disposable plastic gloves that is really just a plastic bag and a bad management decision. Proper disposable gloves are available and much easier for guests to use. Besides that we got our breakfast in a nice big restaurant with no problems. If you are looking for a sleepover and maybe some wellness this is a good place to do it. Wife had the Clay Body Wrap treatment and was very happy with the therapist and can recommend this 80 minutes treatment. Service at the hotel is great and smiling. Overall a recommendable place. The restaurant was unfortunately fully booked for dinner so we didnt have the chance to eat there.
