  Un Hotel Moderno en una gran Ciudad

  El hotel es muy acogedor, moderno desde todos los puntos de vista. Un buen bar para poder disfrutar de diferentes bebidas. La piscina muy relajante para descansar un momento y retomar energías para seguir... muy variado desayuno y exquisito!!!!

  A hot and disappointing experience

  I booked this 4-star hotel because I wanted to ensure a nice stay for me, my boyfriend and our dog. The hotel´s homepage says they are pet friendly, and I also called the hotel to make sure that our dog would be welcome, which was confirmed. We paid an extra 250 kr. for the dog, which was not evident from the booking site - but for what? There wasn´t even a water bowl or a small dogtreat at the hotel. It was not a pleasant experience for us humans either, since the weather was nice and the room was a sauna due to lack of aircondition. There was a small ventilator on the table though, and that would be an ok solution for at cheap two-star hotel, but not what I expected from Comwell. I couln´t wait to get out of there. The staff is brilliant though, very nice and welcoming.

  Excellent hotel and restaurant

  Specifically I would like to recommend the restaurant at this hotel. Excellent food and the service is first class. There is a young male waiter who is training and his knowledge of wine was really impressive and his passion for the subject was a real joy. I know a little about wine myself but I was so happy to listen to him and he cannot have been much more than 20 yrs old. To the hotel manager: you have a superstar member of your team here that you need to take care of and encourage.

  Good place to stay

  Really satisfying stay. Nice well kept rooms and enjoyable atmosphere. All measures are taken to keep people safe. Hand sanitize dispensers everywhere and people are requested to inform the breakfast personal of preferred eating time to ensure that the restaurant is not too crowded.

  Inadequate service in the restaurant

  I booked a tabel for dinner september the 19th. before a show in Kolding Theater. When I called and booked I was not told, that I could choose between a Showmenu and A la carte. I assumed it was A la carte, because on the HomePage of Hotel Comwell Kolding, there was nothing mentioned about a Showmenu. We arrived 4 persons and was placed in the part of the restaurant where the Showmenu was served. We ordered Wine and placed our coats and bags. Then we were moved to the other part of the restaurant, where the A la carte was served. So we placed our order again. One person from our group ordered a normal Tuborg bier, but was told, that it was not possible to order normal biers. Then we afsked to se the menu, the Waiter told us, that it was only possible to order to main dishes: Veal or Burger. Did no one tell you that I must sat, that we were really surprised, because we looked on the HomePage just a fem hours before, and everything looked normal How Can you run an A la carte restaurant with only Two main dishes? We were really, really disappointed and we can not recommend the restaurant. It seems like there were no Leader, not at team effort, just individuals runding around. The food: Veal was great. Comwell Burger bun was very dry.
