  It just works

  Helen as host just makes the stay very enjoyable. Helps with the usual tourist questions and provides you with a nice breakfast. The room (better call it a flat) itself is kept as being nearly brand new, beds are very comfortable. Just nothing to complain about, you will just feel like coming home.

  Excellent! Great for families!

  Great place for families. Lovely, clean and quiet place and a really large bathroom. We have the whole small living area for ourselves as there were 5 of us. Helen is an excellent host. She makes sure everything is ok during our stay. Cereals/fruits/light beverages were provided during our stay. Her breakfast is excellent!

  Excellent hospitality

  I drove to the house and We arrived at late night. We got the keys through instruction, we then slept. Morning breakfast was excellent, it was the most memorable breakfast of this trip. I would like to thank the old lady of this house.

  Exceptional Bed & Breakfast

  This was our second time at Como Bed & Breakfast and again, we found Helen to be a marvelous host. She met all our requests and needs with a smile and made us feel as though we were staying with a friend rather than at a B&B. She even supplied us a couple of umbrellas as the week-end was very wet in Perth. During our two-night stay, we had access to the entire top-floor of the B&B. As such, it was akin to staying in a complete house with only a kitchen and a laundry missing from the configuration. As I've mentioned before, our accommodation consisted of: A large bathroom with many draws for storage with a separate bath and a good size shower; A separate toilet; A large bedroom with desk and free WiFi (very good speed and connection), wardrobe with a set of draws, iron and ironing board, a safe, and many other storage sections; A lounge room with a TV, DVD-player, two couches, a good selection of DVDs, books and radio/CD player; An adjoining dining room with microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery, crockery, glasses, mugs, cling-wrap, dish-washing liquid, serviettes, paper towels, coffee-plunger, etc., etc.; And a wonderful balcony with four comfortable seats overlooking the park, a table and a clothes-horse. The daily breakfast was wonderful and well prepared and presented. Each day, Helen would re-stock the fridge with supplies ranging from a wonderful platter of fresh fruit, to juices, yogurts, butter, breads, water, ice and milk. There was also a selection of cereals, biscuits, tea, coffee, and milo etc., replenished every day. The chocolates on the pillows each night was a wonderful touch and much appreciated. Thank you, Helen, for being such a gracious host and making our stay, such a perfect experience again.

  A wee bit unexpected

  Three of us had lunch at The Como Hotel Restaurant in Como, South Perth. Hadn't seen each other for a couple of months so were really looking forward to the provision of the right atmosphere etc. Well, The Como Hotel restaurant provided the lot. The music was at a very decibel level, the service was so relaxed but efficient and grub was great; and...very reasonably priced. The venue exterior provides some lovely 'garden' looks which was so comfortable and just right. We'll be back!
