  Arrived at comfort zone apartments only to be told we would be staying somewhere else had to walk over a kilometer with bags to where we were staying first thing that hits us is the smell of smoke even though theres a strict policy on smoking bear in mind we had a young girl with us the first thing we saw were homeless people sleeping on the stairways on the fifth floor where we were staying had to ring the police to remove them also had a hotline number if we had any difficulty a lot of good as the alarm went off Sunday morning kept ringing the hotline number no response had to disable it ourselves after a long process avoid this place at all costs ruined our stay

  Decent apartments - helpful staff

  I was moved to this hotel because my original hotel had over-booked. After a bit of confusion at check-in I went to the room and had a few problems. However, the girl on reception was very helpful and everything was sorted out. The room itself was fine bit this is very much lower end of mid-range. TV didn't work properly either.

  Do not stay here

  On first glance the apartment just needed some TLC and some air freshener. On closer inspection and opening of cupboards etc we were disgusted and extremely disappointed. The pictures speak volumes. Soooo dusty that it clung to our clothes on the shelf in wardrobe, blinds that didnt cover window, kitchen absolutely disgusting! Food left in cupboard, dirty grill pan left in oven - which explained the horrible greasy smell! Dirty cutlery, carpets, sofa! Tv didnt work properly and the list goes on!!! Manager didnt seem too bothered. Blamed housekeeping and maintenance. Did offer one night refund.

  Perfect

  City centre apartment for 70 quid a night. Short walk to the indoor arena for a concert. Expected not a lot from reading reviews on here but got a lot more! I've paid twice the amount for a hotel room in Sheffield that you had to close the door in the bathroom to even get to the toilet. Clean, welcoming staff and a very easy check in and key drop. People need to readjust their expectations. Next time I need a room in Birmingham I know where I'm staying.

  Could be better but not awful

  Was pleasantly surprised with the facilities, milk, tea, coffee, water and washing up liquid was all provided. As the stay went on a few issues became apparent, the WiFi wasnt accessible, there were no curtains in the lounge where one of us was sleeping on the sofa bed-the blinds provided were inadequate, Bathroom wasnt cleaned properly & the dining chairs didnt match. Standards could be a bit higher
