  Not bad

  The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice. Had a good selection of offerings. The front desk, I think he may have been the manager, was not very friendly. He did not speak unless you spoke to him. Really none of the people working the day shift were very friendly. The night desk people were friendlier. The beds were comfortable.

  Nice Stay

  Very nice stay. Comfortable beds and very good breakfast. New and modern building. Grandkids enjoyed the pool. Only complaints are the internet was slow at night and noise from the room above. I would definitely stay there again.

  Very happy with this hotel

  Was very happy with this hotel. Large, clean rooms. The kids enjoyed the pool while I went to the fitness centre. This fitness centre was one of the nicer hotel fitness centres I've been in. It had a lot of variety of equipment, clean, everything worked, and it was not just a hotel room in a corner converted into a fitness centre. It also overlooked the pool and I could keep an eye on my kids. Felt very safe in this area of town, and the hotel had a large parking lot which made it easy to unload/reload.

  Big Disappointment

  My wife and I have stayed at the hotel about a dozen times and have had some positive experiences here but I noticed a change the last time couple of times we stayed here. The friendliness of the Choice Hotel brand was not there either time. When I checked in late in the afternoon the young lady helping me did not greet me nor did she thank me for choosing to stay with them and I am a Platinum member. After checking in I came back down to the desk to ask this same girl a question and she gave me a disgusted look because I was interrupting her text message conversation. My guess is that she may have been the owners daughter and knew she would never get fired regardless of how she treated their customers. We travel to Omaha on occasion and know that we will find another hotel that appreciates our business.

  Worst of the worst

  I went on a 3-week cross-country road trip with my 4 kids. This hotel was the last one of the trip and it was by far, the worst experience out of all the hotels we had stayed in. We arrived at 9pm at night after a 10-hour day of driving, only to find that the lights in our room did not work. When I called the front desk to tell them, the lady said she knew exactly what was wrong and came up to reset a switch which then got the lights working. She said that "it happens sometimes" and if it happens again in the middle of the night, to give her a call. Shortly after that, we found that the toilet would not flush, that the tank had no water in it. My son used a trash can and filled it with water from the bath tub to get it to flush. I called the front desk again and she said that they probably forgot to turn on the valve behind the toilet, so she instructed me to turn the valve on. Thankfully that fixed the problem. But why weren't these things taken care of before assigning a single mom with 4 kids to the room? The elevator smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and it looks like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages because there was food and trash particles along the floor. There were no breakfast options offered either. All of the other hotels we stayed at had altered their breakfast choices because of Coronavirus, such as offering sealed pastries, yogurt, fruit, coffee. But this hotel only said, "No breakfast will be serve." We are very disappointed, being a Platinum elite member of Choice hotels. When I brought these issues up with Choice, their only response was, "While we do not control the day-to-day operations of the hotels, they are expected to meet certain standards. I'm sorry to see the property fell short of those standards and failed to provide you with the experience you deserve."
