  Excellent rooms for visits to Rochester - & Mayo Clinic medical facilities

  We picked this spot on most recent RST trip for two nights while at Mayo Clinics for med. consults. Big rooms. First class and very good price. They have a popular shuttle to/from Mayo Clinics. We had our car so no difficulty getting to & from Mayo - ( hint if visiting Mayo consider parking under Baldwin Building as you connect to their 1st floor walkway to all Mayo Clinic. Baldwin also sells a parking pass for 5 days for only $25 that is way cheaper.)

  Felt like home

  We stayed two weeks for treatment at Mayo. They made us feel at home. The front desk staff was very accommodating. We could call them and schedule our housekeeping so my husband did not get disturbed while recuperating. The soup they served Monday through Thursday was a nice feature. Breakfast was always delicious. The friendly staff made a long difficult stay bearable. We will definitely stay there again for return trips.

  Not the best Comfort Suites has to offer

  We paid extra to stay in a place with suites, and I literally have never seen so much crammed into so little space in an attempt to call it a suite. The room is impossibly small, the desk tiny, all kinds of junk jammed here and there because it's required. The front desk staff was nice but they're all obviously family in a further attempt to cut cost. The room was clean but, as I said, uncomfortably crowded. Of course because of the so-called pandemic breakfast is a joke -- an excuse to cut costs even more -- so we didn't even bother. I would not spend my money to stay here again.

  Really nice

  I was surprised by how nice this hotel was for the price I paid. It had 2 queen beds and a couch. The bathroom was basic but clean. The hotel seemed to be really clean and they were taking COVID19 seriously and enforcing mask wearing. If I am ever back to Rochester I will choose this hotel once again.

  Room was Nice

  I have no complaints at all about my room. It was clean, comfortable, and provided me with a good night's sleep. This hotel is located just south of Rochester, and it is a quick drive to just about everything one would want to visit in the city. There are two reasons I couldn't give this hotel a better rating. The front desk personnel, both checking in and checking out were poor for a hospitality business. The morning guy was intently interested in something on his cell phone and was rude to me and at least two other guests when we took him away from it for requests. The other reason is this hotel stores bed pieces (mattresses and boxsprings) in their stairwells. They are stored in such a fashion that they could topple and block the door to the stairwell. This is inexcusable and I am sure not compliant with local fire regulations.
