  Luxury Stay with Above & Beyond Staff

  I would like to start off by saying there is a Mr. Patel at the front desk who did an extraordinary job making sure we were taken care of. He recommended where to eat and also where to go visit in Memphis. Our room was beautiful and we found out it is renovated and may I add spacious! I love the colors that entire hotel is and the fact that they are so clean. I was here for a business trip/family trip but I already told them I will be back with the rest of my family and friends. Thank you for everything!

  HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT

  Me and my wife stayed in the suite for 2 nights and needed new linen because the old ones were dirty with vomit. Upon requesting new linens from the general manager, Vikki, we were told she didnt have any linens in the whole hotel and would not allow us to change to a different room, forcing us to sleep with no linens and the room stinking of vomit from the blankets and sheets that we put on the floor. We had to wait a full 24 hours until the other workers showed up and the general manager left to go ask again for linens. The other workers were very very respectful and helpful and agreed that the general manager was in no place to be working in customer service in any setting due to her absolute rudeness. After we left we demanded a refund for the night due to not having any linens and were sent on a 3 week long circle game calling the same 4 numbers over and over each one telling us to call the other. When we finally got in touch with someone who could help, the general manager vikki denied our refund after promising it for 3 weeks, called us liars, and hung up in our faces on multiple phone calls. Needless to say we did not receive our refund. New management is required in the place badly. This is the most disgusting management Ive ever witnessed in my entire life, even throughout my military career... just sad.

  Mold

  Ive never posted a review. Im not a complainer. The room is newly renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The staff members were 100% friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room was spotless. Hotel is very quiet and off the main road. However. There was a leak coming from the floor above. The wall in our kitchenette was wet and growing mold. This was not noticed until 10:00 PM. We were short 2 hand towels, one bath towels and 2 wash rags. Hubs and I had to share as this was not noticed until 10:30 PM. Found the towels. They had been placed under the sink in our kitchenette to absorb the leak occurring there. Also found organic matter on the base of the toilet. Again. Late. Too late to change rooms. This morning my husband contacted the front desk and asked for a manager. Manager was not in so they sent the head of housekeeping. She took notes and was very apologetic for the quality of the room and for placing us in a room knowing mold was growing in it. When we checked out, the front desk staff stated the manager would arrive at 9:00 AM and would contact us. As of 11:19 tonight no one has contacted my husband. As preferred members of Choice Hotels, we always get a survey via email. No survey this time. So, Im utilizing Trip Advisor. I will continue to stay in Choice Hotels. I would stay at this hotel again after a long talk with the manager.

  Sad to say, expected honesty

  Beware, they will find a way not to give you back your incidentals hold. We stay there and got an ridiculous charge of $200 for not cleaning the room. Isnt that what housekeeping is for? they said we left a stain on the carpet but have yet to show me any pics which at this point, they could put a stain there and send a pic. But when I asked, they had nothing. No proof. Just a charge which I had to dispute with my CC company because not even Choice Hotel corporate would help because they are privately owned. I usually dont stay at choice hotel because they have no guarantees for customer satisfaction like most big chain hotel. But I guess when you go cheap you get what you get. Never again, back to Marriott I go.

  Talk About Service

  They make you feel at home and will take care of your special request. They will advise you where to eat, shop, and where to go for entertainment. Wonderful staff that make sure your room is cleaned EVERY SINGLE DAY! Nowadays, I wouldn't expect that during COVID19 but they do! They also make amazing cookies every evening.
