  Nice hotel

  Nice hotel. Very slim pickings for breakfast -cold only very basic due to covid- but best part of hotel was the summer cafe restaurant next door, walked over for dinner and again the next morning for a full breakfast. Mattresses firm, bedding for pull out sleeper was in room. Comfy furniture. Front desk people should really be masked at all times. Does not matter if your state has low infection rate.

  HORRIBLE management!!!!

  We checked in with 2 families and pets for the beginning of the Labor Day holiday. When we booked for 2 more days, due to my disabled husbands torn leg muscle (a 70 yo disabled vet from Vietnam Nam) we were told there was limited availability and we would have to change rooms. No problem. The following morning, on calling the front desk to check when we could move into our new rooms, I was called back by the Manager, Marcus, who told me our cats would have to stay in the cars in (100 degree heat!). When I told him that would KILL our pets (!!!) he told us we would have to be out by 11am with 3 kids and 3 pets and nowhere to go for the rest of our stay in Omaha!!! At this point, Marcus called me a liar saying we never said we had cats and we hadnt filled out the pet policy forms. I had for the previous 2 days as I signed the exact same paperwork at the next Choice Hotel (in Omaha, on Grover - who were VERY nice and helpful - thank you, Sheila!). That was one of 2 reasons we booked there; the pets and room in the lot for our trailers as were moving cross-country with our kids and grands. Worse yet, they made my disabled husband HAND CARRY EVERYTHING down because they had ONE cart for a 4 story hotel!!! I can only give a minimum of 1 Star so I will leave the star for the rooms which were nice, however, it is NOT cheap as people have posted. Each room was OVER $100. The next place (Grover) also has hot breakfast, unlimited pool usage, AND an a bar/restaurant. I would not suggest ANYONE with kids or pets stay at the Comfort Inn in La Vista unless you want VERY limited amenities and headaches!!! (We honestly believe they overbooked and we were the easiest target - but you DO NOT CALL patrons liars!!! That is despicable and we will be contacting the ASPCA regarding his suggestion for our beloved pets!!!!)

  Very nice, new hotel with large rooms

  We were here just for an overnight stay, but we had been coming for longer, we would have been pleased to stay here. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. Its in a newly developed area, so there arent a lot of restaurants nearby, and be warned, many of them close at 8pm.

  REALLY CLEAN WITH LARGE ROOMS AND COMFY BEDS

  I just stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. There was also a couch (could have been a sofa bed but we didn't need it). The room and hotel were very, very clean, and the front desk staff was really friendly. The beds and pillows were comfy, and I had a great night's sleep. If I ever need to come back to Omaha, I will definitely stay here. Due to Covid19, as with all hotels, breakfast is sparse. However, this hotel at least still lets you make waffles! They also had pastries. The other hotels I've been in would just give you paper bag with a bottle or water, small pastry, and possibly a granola bar. I give this Comfort Suites a thumbs up for still allowing the customers to make waffles.

  Silver Lining

  Our van conked out on the interstate traveling through. We were able to limp to a hotel and this was the hotel we made it to. Check in was simple, the staff was helpful and even provided a pack-n-play for our infant. When we checked into the room it was really clean and spacious, which was great for our three kids to be able to move around after being cooped up in a van for a while. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of room to sleep our family of five. Though the stop wasn't planned and there was added stress on figuring out what to do with our van, the hotel staff went above and beyond to minimize the added stress incurred from the unexpected stop. The manager Toni was kind, courteous, thoughtful and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
