  Fantastic Service, Clean, Safe

  After pre-booking a room at another hotel in the area and finding crime scene tape, bolted doors, and liquor bottles strewn across the lawn, we found Comfort Inn, Newcastle. The hotel is clean and well lit outside, clean and well lit inside, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful even beyond what was necessary. I would remember this Comfort Inn to anyone.

  GREAT STAY

  Wife and I with 15yr baseball player staying for a local tournament. Stay Aug. 26 - Aug. 30. 3rd floor room...2 queen beds. Elevators worked fine. Room was clean, nice enough, beds, pillows ok. AC worked great! Only bad thing some ants decided to move in also around day 2...we told mgmnt and they immediately put us in a suit, apologized etc....handled very well we thought. The outdoor hotel pool was nice and clean. Hotel wifi was free and worked ok. The hotel location was great for us....you can be to okc in about 30 mins or less. There is a convenience store right across the street and some good restaurants etc nearby. Due to covid no big breakfast at hotel but there was coffee....no biggie great breakfast right down the street...Bamboos. Shout out to the girls at the front desk....THANKS Meagan and Whitney !!!!!!.....they really were nice, professional and very helpful our entire stay! Would stay there again for sure!!!

  Lifesaver on the Interstate

  I was driving to Texas for a late summer trip and spent a night at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Newcastle. An 18 hour drive started to get me road weary, but I didn't want to stop in the middle of OKC and was happy to see Comfort Inn on the sw side of town. Fortunately I was able to get a room even during the pandemic and noticed the precautions the hotel was taking ensuring people were masked and a partition set up at the front desk. I got a king size bed, a few doors down from the front desk (room 102), which was nice being a solo female traveler. The room was clean, and spacious, even if I was only there to get a quick shower, and some sleep. The only issue with the room was with the (large walk in shower), the water pressure was very low. Due to the pandemic a hot breakfast was not available, grab and go bags were offered though. Overall a nice place to stop and stay if you're road weary and not wanting to be in the middle of OKC, with easy access to I 40.

  No internet and ac do not blow air

  Just a BEAUTIFUL hotel. Just as a professional I need proper internet and I shouldnt have to beg for it. Corona is over. Serve breakfast. Heather was so nice when I checked in. Not so sure about the others.

  If you are a woman traveling alone BEWARE!

  I have stayed at this particular site several times over the years and never had an issue. I checked into my room around 4:30pm and noticed a bunch of people in the parking lot. I am traveling alone and a 57 yea old woman. I felt a little uneasy. I had a 3 nite stay planned for a quilting class (3 days), which I do every 6 months. I checked in, had dinner, and had been sewing in my room. I kept wanting to go out for a break but the crowd was still in the parking lot. Around 8:30 a quilt friend text me,so I grabbed me a beer from my ice chest and went to the parking lot. I sat out by my car on the curb and was having a texting conversation, when one of the crowd came over by me and stood behind me. I turned my head to see what she was doing and she asked if I had a problem. My main problem was she was in a large group and COVID is everywhere. I felt she was in my space and up to something. Then they start saying Im a Karen. Then another lady friend m the crowd came over and was trying to make sure everything was okay. Police came. I did not feel they cared about my concerns. Told everyone to go to rooms. I did but crowd slowly dwindled. Hotel ask me to leave but the large group got to stay. My husband had to drive 1.5 hours to pick me up. I wasnt drunk but I had just had a beer and did not want that issue. While waiting in my room, the thugs were roaming the parking lot until my husband arrived. BEWARE! Had to drive back next day to get my husbands vehicle and pick up my sewing machine set up in class.
