  Shocking customer service

  Was unable to stay due to bushfires, called prior to let them know we would be unable to make it so they could rent out the room to others who would be stranded or seeking shelter from nearby towns. Was told if they filed the room we would refund or credit for another weekend. Called back on the 4th to discuss option only to be told very rudely that they dont do refunds and wont be able to disclose if they re- sold the room. Have never spoken to someone so rude who stated our hotel was fine, you could have come. (This was even after the roads were closed) Shocked they are trying to gain from a natural disaster but even more shocked the guy was so rude. Spoken over then told to stop interrupting him as he was speaking over me...Even if we ended up getting offered a credit I would never stay there from how we got spoken too.

  DO NOT STAY HERE!

  We were unable to access the hotel due to road closures from the bushfires, and despite canceling in time to receive free cancellation, we were charged the full amount after we were due to stay. Multiple phone calls to the scumbag owner were met with a disgusting attitude and a refusal to refund the money. Other reviewers have had the same experience. Use your money to support a business in town that actually deserves it, not on someone with zero ethics looking to cash in on the bushfire crisis.

  Lakes Entrance

  We had planed only one night here, great price but then go on to Mallacoota but once we go here decided to say in Lakes longer but couldnt get any more night here at Comfort Inn, so its old but very very clean, bed l always worry because of a bad back but that was a good night, bathroom very very clean, again its old. The reception very friendly happy to help. Today we move to next door

  Brilliant Country Motel

  Down for the long weekend in Lakes entrance and chose to stay in a one bedroom spa suite was very surprised on arrival with the size and how modern the room was. They Were very clean and had enough space for the two of us with a couch and tea and coffee facilities provided. My only criticism would be the staff member on check out being on his mobile phone while serving me and not being very attentive gives the impression that he did not want to be there. They lady on check in was lovely and helpful. The pool area looked decent but is definitely due for a facelift its not very inviting in its current state. Overall good value for money and nice and quiet.

  Basic but cozy

  Spent 2 nites here with my partner last month. The bed was very comfortable,and the whole room was very clean. Would recommend asking for a room with a table and chairs, as we had a bench and it was less comfortable to eat food. Did not like that there were no windows to let in fresh air in room or bathroom. The whole property looks very tired and in need of a refresh, but if you are just looking for a cheap place to stay as we were, the Comfort Inn ticks all the boxes.
